Beautiful, well-kept gardens. Lovely peaceful surroundings. The old farm museum exhibits are fascinating. There's a cafe on site for drinks and food. There's on site car parking that's pay and display. Entry is £10pp or £8 for seniors. We'll worth a visit if you're in the area.
Absolutely beautiful place! Very green and colourful. Its like a mini village.nI have been told, that some houses on the premises are 400 years old.nnCafe has the best cakes i ever had.nnI use a mobility scooter to move around, its mostly accessible, however you cant get on to the upper floor of most of the buildings.
Fantastic place for family time. Beautiful garden one of the best ones I have ever seen in UK. True masterpiece of gardening. I have great respect for people taking care of all of trees and bushes. I really recommend it to all of this who are visiting Scotland.
Visited Pitmedden Gardens to say I had used my National Trust card. Beautiful gardens to walk around and benches available to sit and rest or admire the gardens. If you are using a wheelchair you will be on either small shingle gravel or grass. You can see a lot of the garden but to see the lower level the website states you have to speak to a member of staff. There is a 'spot the bug' activity page available from the payment desk for children and adults...!!. The cafe was good. It is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. We didn't get to do any of the woodland walks which are available.
Beautiful gardens, but some only accessible over grass, so wear waterproof shoes. Satnav sent us astray, will be contacting Scottish National Trust separately. Food and drink ok -nothing fancy. Thought £8 concession for gardens and a few bits of farm machinery a bit steep. Toilets near car park tatty, tiny and very low-not suitable for older folks. Bit disappointed over all.
