Ive been attending Infinityblu Pitlochry for five years now and I’ve had nothing but fantastic service. When I booked in for my routine check up, I was looking for options to improve my smile for my upcoming wedding and Carolynne came up with a non invasive treatment plan that would enhance my smile for my big day and beyond. This consisted of a deep clean and a course of whitening to remove all of my coffee stains and some Composite Bonding on four of my teeth to align and protect due to years of wear and sensitivity. It took all of three appointments to complete my treatment as I was able to do the whitening at home, in my own time! I can honestly say it was the best thing Ive ever done and invested in as I’ve never been so happy to smile without feeling self conscious.
Very polite and professional team. I had a filling replaced , wasn’t sitting right went back in at end of same day not expecting anything but was sorted there and then. Much appreciated.
It's hard to know what to make of this as a dental practice. On the one had, the dentistry aspect is fine, they know teeth, they do a reasonable job, they're pleasant and professional. But that's where it all goes a bit pear shaped. Somebody has obviously swallowed whole the "Customer Experience for Dummies" manual. I have never encountered such a convoluted, complex, disconnected approach to getting my teeth fixed. If you tried really hard to make it such that you put people off, you'd be hard pressed to come up with something as bad as this. From my initial phone call, it took over 5 weeks for the "treatment co-ordinator" to call me. Except there was no co-ordination. She had no clue what my history was, or the reason I needed to see a dentist, despite me providing it and in the end all she was there to do was to book an appointment. Then she told me it would be AT LEAST 12 weeks before I could even contemplate getting NHS treatment. Eventually I got to see a dentist for what was a minor problem of a bit of enamel that had chipped. I got so fed up waiting for them I was able to visit my old dentist in Oxfordshire, have the tooth assessed and be reassured it was OK before they were ready to see me. Just for an initial assessment - not actual treatment. That took another few weeks. In the meantime I have been bombarded with emails and text messages reminding me about appointments. And to "fill in my forms". Which I did the first time. I ignored them the second time. Honestly, just what do thy think we're doing? Waiting for yet more forms to be filled in and to watch videos of how to check in? As my only other options are no treatment or the extravagantly expensive private practice in Aberfeldy, I have persevered but it has been, well, like pulling teeth. And although I have registered as an NHS patient, there are still charges. But nobody explained that to me so today I paid for a small bit of surface filling and a scale & polish which I didn't request, but was told I was having and turned out to be just a bit of plaque removal. Don't mind paying something but they really really need to make it clear in ADVANCE what the charges are and how the NHS system works. They cannot expect everyone to know. I also detect a slight arrogance and off-handed ness with the reception staff. One elderly lady waiting ahead of me had the same "you must fill in your forms" instruction in her reminder and was puzzled by it. She was told to call and that "well, yes they can be temperamental". Really? If so, why send them? And when I asked about the NHS charging mechanism I was informed very brusquely that it was 80% patient, 20% NHS as if I was an idiot for not knowing this. Focus on the dentistry and stop trying to be so clever with your marketing which, BTW, seems entirely geared up to persuading you to have expensive cosmetic treatment. I'm at an age where my teeth won't need a lot of treatment. I might just drive back down to Oxfordshire. At least I will only have to make one phone call...
Great service from the whole team during my recent course of treatment. I felt well supported at each step and am very happy with the outcome.
I have avoided going to the dentist for years out of shear embarrassment about how bad my teeth were. As soon as I stepped into the practice I felt at ease. The dentist Holly couldn’t have been more welcoming and made me feel really comfortable. I definitely had nothing to worry about it.
First class. The dentist looking after me, Vicki, was awesome at making me feel calm about everything and explained in detail what's going to happen. Extremely grateful for there ongoing work and support. Reception staff really friendly and helpful also. Keep up the awesome work.
I had 2 implants fitted to replace 3 front teeth legacy of a careless childhood. I was looked after very well by Chris, Andrew and of course the excellent dental nurses, and was kept informed at all stages of the process. I’m really happy with the end result and highly recommend infinity blu.
I've had the 'misfortune' of attending a dentist surgery in many countries across Europe and Africa. I can say with conviction that this Practice is one of the very best. My dentist was pleasant, knowledgable and informative and the treatment I received was superb. I can highly recommend them.
I have been a patient at infinityblu since Chris opened his first clinic in 2007. I had a terrible fear of dentists due to my childhood and later teenage years. I only went to a dentist when I had to. Seriously, my tiny wisdom teeth gave me sores for years before I agreed to let a lady dentist promise me she knew what she was doing and she did pop three out. I didn't even know it had been done. That was the last time I went to the dentist. Sometime later, I am talking 15 years, I broke my front teeth. I put it off until a friend saw my broken tooth and commented on it, goodness me. I like a nice smile and usually in the day had quite white teeth too. I decided to visit infinityblu, and I was so scared. I met a young man, the same age as my eldest son. He was so understanding of my fear and I believed in him. He did a check-up with no metal involved. I needed my teeth cleaning obviously, but xrays showed no real issues, so it was just about redoing my front teeth. Wow, last time I had anything to do with my front teeth for some reason was when a dentist drillled and filled the gap between my front teeth. I shot through the ceiling and was told to sit still, so I did. Chris was different, it was a difficult hour, but I felt nothing and came out with a new smile. I continued to visit for years and kept appointments until COVID. I even introduced my husband who has a bigger fear than me of the dentists. He relaxed and we attended our regular 6 month checkups. We have been away for two years due to COVID and became terribly worried again, but made appointments, to find Chris only did implants now. I was so upset and was adamant I wasn't going. However, we both went, and was treated by Carolynne. She was very sweet, a very caring young lady and her nurse was so nice too. I am a retired nurse so I do know what TLC is and this is in infinityblu. I miss Chris Barrowman not being my dentist, but Caroline has convinced me that infinityblu is the full package. She was understanding, convincing and a real darling, exactly what I expect from infinityblu. Thank you carolynne for giving me my confidence back and thank you Chris for creating infinityblu..... stunning. xtx
My appointment was with Jade the Hygienist. I had a Scale and Polish and Air Polish Stain Removal. Whole experience was professional and friendly.
