So many places to grab a takeaway on Broad Street after a night out but always end up going to pit stop have tried the others and the food isn't great At pit stop the pizzas , kebabs , Burgers etc are all cooked fresh Food is always hot and always delicious aswel as big portions so no complaints The staff are so friendly and welcoming Come often after a long shift for a quick dinner But often order takeaway from here too
TRULY THE WORST KEBAB I HAVE EVER LAID EYES ON. The staff were rude and impatient and the kebabs were even more disappointing. I was served a slab of naan harder than a rock, topped with soggy donner meat and no salad whatsoever as they had run out! Please avoid
I bought a chicken shawarma, but I got a weirdly tasting sour chicken tortilla wrap with lettuce which is far from what a traditional shawarma is. The least they can do is name their food correctly and not mislead people. Or try to make a proper shawarma, it’s not that hard.
I went in to order a large cheesy fries as usual the guy heard me and I payed for a large. He told me about 3 minutes. Yet another bloke came in asked for a kebab with chips and was served straight away. Best part of it was when a different bloke called me up from the chairs to come a collect my order I was given a small portion of cheesy fries. I told him I asked for a large and his excuse was oh I’ve put plenty on for you? Seriously serve the right portions for the price you state. Literally two customers in the shop and they failed to get my order correct through passing on the job to each other. Disappointing service.
I was staying at the hotel next door and got back late one night, was hungry and got myself a takeaway chicken sheesh kebab from Pit Stop. Lovely friendly staff, quick service and the food was delicious. Wish I'd gone there a few nights before instead of traipsing round trying to find a restaurant!!
Utterly dreadful, do you self a favour and go literally anywhere else! Pizza was ghastly and the mixed kebab and chips was worse.
Nice staff, very welcoming food enjoyed the chicken here. I will be going back to price are good. Kid-friendliness: Food was nice, family friendly.
Coor blimey. Worst kebab I’ve ever had in my life. You might think I’m being dramatic, but Jesus wept, it was like chewing on wet paper.
Next to the Hiton, food is good enough after a night out but nothing to sing about. Open late. Did the job. Very busy.Food: 4/5
Great takeaway plenty of choice fresh and delicious will be coming here again
