Anyone who has seen any of my post knows that I love my fish and chips and review establishments on my travels. We parked up at Central Car Park in our motor home and walked straight down Carr Road to Pisces. About a 3-4 minute walk. Ordered 2 x regular haddock and chips. Cost £15.18. Fish cooked to order. Lovely light crispy batter. Very good chips. Certainly not greasy. They tasted great. The restaurant/takeaway looked spotlessly clean. No hesitation in recommending this establishment.
The best!! Drove up from the car park where we stayed in our campervan, best, biggest fish had in a long time, decent lads working too, friendly, fast and fresh sit in avaliable and place was spotlessly clean! More certificates than a record of achievement on the wall. Shows proper staff investment! 10/10

Saw that apices was voted in top 50 in UK but only one in Lancs so had to try it. Certainly deserves its plaice see what I did there as one of best in Lancs
Best fish and chips I have had in while. Shame they were not taking C/D Cards, but an ATM 2 mins away.
We have always loved the food from Pisces, however the quality control of the food they send out for delivery needs some attention. Missing or incorrect orders isn't good and really annoying. Yes you get a refund, which is all well and good, but when the family is waiting for food they can't eat a refund.Service: 2/5

Been this chippy a few times usually bang on. Went yesterday and the fish was like eating rubber took a great effort to chew and had a sore stomach today. It is a shame as I normally have had really nice meals from there.
Nice fish n chips bit the blond lad serving is stupid..I ordered haddock while waiting he was serving everybody else who came in...I could see he was running out of chips guess what ? When my haddock was ready he said I'm sorry I've run out of chips it'll be 5mins. Wow
