What a fabulous experience. I've never been before. We were greeted on arrival and shown straight to our table. A drinks order was taken while we perused the menu. I ordered the salmon to start and then had the lamb....simply melt in the mouth, delicious and delightful!! Harriet our waitress was wonderful, polite, courteous and efficient. The restaurant has low beams, so watch your head. The toilets are unisex and compact. There is a garden to the rear, which is flagged and has tables to dine out when the weather is fine and warm. I would highly recommend Pipers in Garstang for a superb all round dining experience Can't wait to come back again.
Fantastic family reunion. We had Sunday brunch in their beautiful protected outdoor terrace in the spring sunshine. Food was fantastic , the staff were so friendly, efficient and running around like mad for everyone. We loved it, what a great start to the day!!
We've been here before, when visiting family who live locally, and love the food, so I booked a particular favourite table for lunch for the 4 of us this week. When we arrived my booking didn't show - by mistake I'd booked for the following day I blame Christmas Bank Holiday confusion! The staff were kind and understanding about it, and by an amazing piece of luck in the full restaurant, were able to offer us a table about to be left by other diners, which happened to be exactly the table we'd wanted, a huge relief! As always, the food was delicious the From the Ground Grazing Plate is my favourite and the staff were welcoming, efficient, and friendly. We all enjoyed our meals sadly no tummy space for desserts, and look forward to visiting again - highly recommended, and huge thanks to the lovely staff!

Absolutely brilliant meal out with the wife, enjoyed a rib-eye steak cooked medium just how I wanted it. 3 courses were all fabulous. Will definitely be back.Food: 5/5
We have tried to dine here before, but it has been too busy. We managed this time to get an excellent seat & had one of the best lunches we have experienced in some time. The food was excellent & very competitively priced, the service friendly and swift. We will most certainly visit again.
Visited here last week with child and other half… was greeted like peasants because I’m walking clothes and been out in the rain given garstangs walking community and farmers in the area we didn’t think the dress code would be a issue shoved to the back of the restaurant waiting 55 minutes for food to come out - 1. didn’t get the bread we was told we would get 2. Was given two glasses when there was three of us , we asked twice for a extra glass it never came 3.child finished meal Before our mains even came out 4. Child pudding came out burnt how do you burn a pancake that took 20 minutes to come out? Would not return or advise any body to return as a local business owner this restaurant is pretentious and judging of who comes in and treats you differently based on what you look like.

Our party of 9 gathered today at Pipers to celebrate the 80th Birthday of our friend Margaret. We really enjoyed ourselves and would like to thank John and the staff at Pipers for a first class meal, great service and a top quality experience in the centre of Garstang. This venue is a real gem!
Very cosy setting, this place only has about 30 covers but the food was fantastic! The wait staff were very nice as well. One of our party is vegan and the chef had prepared her own menu with a choice of two starts and two desserts, all of which looked delicious! I had the salmon which was also delicious. I would recommend this place but I would definitely advise to book to avoid disappointment.
