This is a real gem of a find! The pod - I'm in Cabin 2 The Full Moon Cabin - is clean, tidy and has everything I need; Plug sockets, heater, microwave, kettle, fridge. The sofa which is also the double bed is very comfy!  The toilets and showers are clean and nearby, with a code for the pod users, to keep out non residents.  The bar is a really warm and welcoming place. It has lots of people visiting and is clearly very good at what it does - providing a relaxing, friendly environment with a down to earth vibe and a positive atmosphere.  I love its quirkiness and how the owners have made it their own, like the fence made from old skis. They are really nice touches that make the place feel like it is loved.  The lake is about a minute's walk from the pod, and has incredibly clear water - perfect for  cold dip  This place is the perfect location to see the awesomeness of the Cairngorms.  Highly recommended and I will be visiting again.

What a great place! We were advised to try it by the very helpful lady in the Tourist Information place in Aviemore. It's in a great location, especially if you're a bird or squirrel fan.  The coffee was great and we sat near the large windows to try and catch sight of a red squirrel. But for those less interested in fauna there is also a very cosy bar with roaring fire - perfect on chilly days. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It's worth exploring the area too - just up the road was a wonderful view of sunlit snow-capped mountains with a foreground of a glittery loch. Absolutely worth a visit, perfect for a stop off if travelling or if finding your way around the area.

On holiday in Aviemore with our kids and 4 month old puppy. We wanted to try him out eating with us for the first time and couldn't have had a better experience.  All the staff were wonderful and so welcoming. The food was fantastic.  The kid's have already asked that we go back tomorrow.  We sat by the log fire and it was all spot on. Would highly recommend and may very well be back tomorrow!  Great location for a walk afterwards too.

This is a fabulous wee bar. There's a wee shop inside for you to get essentials but the atmosphere and service are warm and friendly. We'll behaved dogs are welcome. Food is served in hearty portions, and is yummy!

We had a much enjoyed snack and the girl who attended to us was lovely and friendly.  We have been coming to Aviemore for many years and always on the lookout for wildlife but sadly the bird feeders looked empty and as if they weren't important any more which was so disappointing.  Hopefully they are not abandoned but we were just unlucky.  One piece of friendly advice if the chef has a cold he should wear a mask and wash his hands after he sneezed  hope to be back again soon.

Brilliant little bar/restaurant. Lovely staff, friendly and efficient. Food was really great and we got loads of it. So much that it was a lot more than we expected and couldn't eat it all : . This is a lovely pub, decor is very good and Cairngorm lager is sweet. The manager this Saturday was rude and impatient. Closing at 22:20 on a Saturday compared to midnight on a Tuesday is preposterous.

What a cracking little place this is! Lovely staff,great welcome,great beer and the food is amazing. We’ll definitely be back.

We kept coming back to this pub during our stay in the Glenmore campsite because it's just WONDERFUL! Sean the staff was AMAZING, great service and company, made our time worth every visit. The food was really, really good-trust me and order the burgers. The chicken burger was UNREAL. It's not just pub food quality. They serve genuinely Good food. All the food and drinks we had here was wonderful, and you get to meet really fun people, good live music, and cute doggies in this place. I cannot recommend this bar more. Just go!!!!!
