Had our works Christmas Do here on Tuesday. The Food was great and the Portions were Large ! We all had a good time and if it wasn't for one glitch over a wrong starter that couldn't be rectified I'd have given a 5 star rating !
Josh and the team have made a massive improvement to the pub over the last few months. Making people feel very welcome. The food menu and the drinks selection are great.
A very welcoming pub with a great team to cater for your drinking and eating requirements. The food is delicious and well cooked, the drink selection is vast and tastes well. The locals are very welcoming to you too. I know previous owners haven't cared for the business as much as the current landlady Jodie does, but she is working hard to turn around the pub. It definitely needs some TLC but they are definitely getting to it. I'll definitely be going back here to drink again. If you've been put off in the past, give it a try and if you're thinking something is still missing, tell the team... they're all ears to feedback and take action to make people come back.
The bar maid was quick efficient and most cheerful and the bar man afterwards was very efficient and very friendly well worth a visit to speak to locals and staff with a customer brought on music quiz really enjoyable night from 17.30 till closing time David Hall trigger
Went for food and it was Absolutely delicious, the best it’s ever been and the service was delightful, full of smiles and so polite. I couldn’t fault anything. Will definitely be making a regular visit
