Booked a party where with less than 2 weeks notice, we couldn’t fault it. Other than providing a cake and decor of our choice, Piglets handled the rest. The indoor and outside area allowed something for everyone, great spread of party food for children which everyone said was tasty and just the right amount. Lots of parents remarked on how good it was and it was great value for money. Easy parking and exclusive use.
I think some of the reviews are a bit harsh - it has amazing space for toddlers- large indoor soft playmuch bigger than any other play cafes I’ve been too, lots of toys, the real gem is all the outdoor space: sandpit, push cars, swing, tunnel and slide and Wendy house/ramps, plus 2 goats and a bunny. I would happily pay £7.50 for me and my toddler to enjoy all those activities in a safe, contained, large space!nnSure, the grounds are a bit run down, likewise the outdoor toys, so a bit of investment there wouldn’t go amiss.nnThe cafe is expensive and only ‘okay’, but there is no pressure to buy anything, so it could just be a very reasonable £7.50 outing for parent and toddler.
My 4 year old and all her pals had the best birthday party yesterday, thank you so much to the 2 girls behind the counter!! They were magnificent, so helpful and so eager to make it a wonderful party, which they did! Wonderful space inside with the soft play, amazing space outside sad I didn't get chance to try the big blue swing! And who doesn't love a rabbit and couple of goats. Thank you so much Piglets!
Great little place for children to come. Outdoor area is quite big, lots of things for children to play on, and two goats to watch! We did think there would be more animals though.nIndoors has a good size soft play that was clean and in good working order, and some toys for children to play with. Coffee was good from the cafe and a good selection of food and snacks.nPerhaps not as big a place as we had expected it to be but none the less it’s got good entertainment for a toddler!
I came to piglets today having had a party there for my son about 5 years ago which was so nice. I was sadly disappointed today. The place is tired looking and dirty. Not the friendliest staff. Outside area unkempt and wood broken from steps on the slide which could be dangerous. It was sad to see as it could be so good. I won't be going back.
