Had take away coffee from Pietro's and sat out overlooking sea. Lucky to get bench away from crowds.
Pietro's is looking tired these days. The service is never the quickest and the choice of cakes was limited due to the festive holidays. The sandwiches did look fresh and appetising though
It's now new ownership.Cadwelders.. Waited 40 mins for 2 hot drinks and kids icecream 4 other visitors came in after us and got served before us. To concerned about emptying the bin by coffee machine..

Lovely coffee and mince pie.
Nice coffee, sandwiches and ice cream. Family friendly. No baby chnaging facilities despite suggesting it might be an idea for them to be put. I first suggested this 20 years ago...still waiting. Service is variable.
A legendary Porthcawl ice cream parlour/cafe that has been part of the seafront experience for many many years. As a cafe the food and drinks are fine. The ice-creams are my favourite of the many on offer in this resort.

Location is excellent. On the prom. The view fantastic. Really lovely ice cream. A huge variety of flavours. Snacks also available. Sit inside or out but limited seating outside.
Much like the old Pietro's, with added setters! Now called Cadwallidars actually!
