We had a great time trekking the hills with the Grandchildren lot's of fun. Heading on the pathway to the right hand side till you reach a gate way in the wall you have a choice we went right into the trees following the pathway is a bit muddy and I would suggest correct footwear is necessary as the terrain changes often. If you persevere and walk up to the top its a lovely panoramic view. The weather is changeable and warm waterproof clothing could be required. This a great place to get the heart pumping and bring your dog. Although there a disabled parking spots this is not a wheelchair friendly place. I did not see picnic areas or toilets.

Don't miss the chance to explore this picturesque haven—it's a must-visit for anyone seeking tranquility and natural beauty.
Nice walk, hardly anyone there. Good mixture of flat pathways, some rocky areas, and grass. I managed to walk to each of the 6 reservoirs. The car park is small, room only for about 15 cars by Ogden res, i dont know if there is another car park nearby,if not i think you would have to park on the road. I was there on a Friday morning so managed to get a space.
Another 1st & another excellent place for walking the furry ones! The area is vast, stunning views, tranquil, easy paths around the reservoirs, a real no drama trek, very calming & very picturesque! Will definitely be going back over the next few months as the seasons change. This walk can take anything from an hour to 2 hours plus, depends how many of the reservoirs you want to circumnavigate! So all in all, a really good trek, plenty to see & the dogs loved it!!
Amazing peaceful place to walk
A wonderful place to walk. There are a few routes you can take. The longest being a 2 hour walk, and a shorter one which takes 40 mins starting from the car park. Plenty of parking. Beautiful scenery.
Beautiful place, fantastic for walking and taking in the sights, great pub with great meals the bulls head,is worth a visit after a good walk
Some great walking tracks with stunning views. The main track is a big loop so it's brilliant. Lots of green space to stretch the dogs legs out too. Dog-friendliness: Plenty of open field to throw a ball, and the walking paths are very safe for pets.
Lovely place to have a nice walk. Lots of parking available
Got their early 8.30 and I was the 1st in the free carpark. Toilets are not open due to covid. There are some stunning walks around this area easy flattish ones to longer hillier ones over to Hollingworth lake. Later in the day the cars are parked all over the place making it difficult to access.
