I enjoyed the fine cuisine and ambience presented to me in this eating establishment. The waiting staff were incredibly attentive and knowledgable. Would be back. I discovered this gem of a bistro on TripAdvisor.
Great mothers day lunch. Stornoway scoth egg was just fantastic. As was the roast lamb. As was the profiteroles. Great value for money and fantastic service.
The food is delicious. The set menu could be a little more varied in style. The restaurant itself and toilets need a face lift. I will definitely go back though because the most important thing IS the food! And, bonus point: they had dairy free ice cream!!!
Had a superb lunch at Pierres today. We haven't been for a long time and it was the choice of our friend who was celebrating her birthday. She had heard of this lovely wee restaurant's reputation. Well we were not let down! Superb ambiance excellent food and the service by Jamie could not be faulted.Well done guys. We will definitely return xx
Nice relaxed dinner with attentive service at a nice pace. Quality of food is very good and reasonable for the price. Menu is reduced but offers some good deals. Selection of menus dependant on day and time so check what time you are going for what menus are on offer. Restaurant is more cosy due to limited size but has a nice atmosphere. Quite a few good reviews and is known in the area. Parking is limited due to location and accepts usual cards.
Really nice food. Quality Scottish fare rather than Franco-Scottish like we expected. Venison was cooked perfectly. Dropped a star because the main course-sized haggis, neeps and tatties my wife was offered ended up being costing the same as the premium menu items. If you're off-menu, check the price in advance!
What an amazing place! We’ve always overlooked this restaurant as it doesn’t look fancy from the outside but omg! the food is absolutely amazing! I constantly complain about lack of service in restaurants in Edinburgh and Glasgow and the average food whilst being overpriced, so finding place in Falkirk that offers delicious food, great wine and fantastic service without the price tag is just outstanding. Highly recommended.
Great menu and ambience. We were celebrating a birthday and had a fantastic time! Really friendly staff the menu choices made for a difficult decision! Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Used to work here about 8 years ago before a career change - Great place. Used good quality produce, and put a lot of effort in to his dishes. Famliy run by good people and good colleagues. Glad to see they’re still doing well.
First time back here in almost forty years since moving away from area! Knew original owner and his daughter. Small cosy French style place with new owner. Food at lunchtime was excellent and reasonably priced, well worth a visit. Haggis Bon Bons crisp and dry while main course duck leg moist with plenty of meat. Presentation very good, nice strong coffee to finish/
