Don’t usually leave reviews but really disappointed with the nipple piercings I got a week ago. Six days after having them I was experiencing severe pain on one of them and the bars appeared to be too short, I tried to ride it out during my shift at work but when I went home a few hours later the ball on the end had fully sunk in under the skin and was unbearably painful, oozing green and my breast had red tracking all over it. I had my sister looking at it just before I did and she said the placement of the bar was wrong, the holes are not where they are on her nipple piercing or my other sisters piercing they are much further apart with a too small bar to leave swelling room. She said when they both had theirs done there was plenty of swell room around the piercing and none for mine. Over that night the same thing started to happen with the other one and I also had to remove that one. I was highly anxious going for these piercings and have not had nipple piercings before, so just before the lady pierced them when she asked me if the placement was ok drawn on I said yes but wouldn’t have known myself that they weren’t how they should be due to being inexperienced and anxious. As soon as the piercing was finished they made me sign a sheet that said I was happy with them. Obviously I didn’t know they were in the wrong place or going to cause severe pain, worry, infection and now scars. Since now looking at the reviews it seems clear there have been many people experiencing the same issue as mine and I guess that’s why they make you sign something after, so you can’t complain and get your money back. I have had many other piercings at a different studio and never experienced these problems or had to sign something. Big waste of £50, now I have two infected nipples with scars on them and no nipple piercings. It was also a very worrying experience when I noticed the ball sunk under the skin and my breast tracking red and very hot. The staff were friendly and the studio was clean but I feel extremely disappointed with their use of getting you to sign off the future problems you don’t even know you are going to have at a point when you aren’t focused properly anyway due to anxiety and really don’t think they have done their job correctly in the piercings. I came with my boyfriend who got his septum re-pierced at the same time and although his appears to be healing ok he has said that he thinks his has been pierced wonky too. We tried this studio as we have moved house nearby but we wish we had travelled to Derby Centre instead and will definitely do this for future piercings if they can be re-pierced in the correct place once they are healed.
Took my daughter to have her nose pierced. Lovely place . The young woman who did the piercing was very professional and put my daughter's mind at rest. Apparently they had a lovely chat about style and piercings. Would recommend the studio to anyone and look forward to going back in the future
I’m not one to leave reviews on things but I felt that I needed to do for today. I went in today for a naval piercing. All the staff were very kind and made me feel very comfortable. However, the lady who did my piercing today unfortunately nicked me while carrying out the piercing which I believe was unprofessional and uncomfortable for me. I am aware that piercings swell but the size of the belly bar they pierced me with is significantly too small which has lead me to a lot of pain and discomfort. I do know a lot of people that have gone here and spoke very highly about it but I cannot say the same.
Nice clean Studio and staff are friendly, can't fault them there. Unfortunately my daughter had to come back twice now after having her lips pierced. The first time the ball came off the piercing which was easily sorted however the lip needed piercing again due to it healing. After having it was re peirced, my daughter now has what looks like a little growth and the piercing was not done straight. Emily who did my daughters septum piercing was brill however the other lady no so much I'm afraid.
Went to get my first and second tattoo. Both pretty large on arm and chest. Got it done by Jack. The care, consideration, attention to detail and amazing designs; making a beautiful piece that aligns with my ambitions. Not only do that but exceeding anything I had conceptualised in my head. I can not express enough how brilliant he was and the quality and service he provided. During my first I was feeling dizzy and feint, he was nothing but kind, caring and helpful, going at my pace until I was ready again. The quality of the tattoos and the experience exceed the price point! The pictures provided: the lion is a image from google, but the flower and hearts piece is custom and was thought about meticulously and considering of everything I wanted in the tattoo, talking through ways he can design it and make it look even better then something I had though of. If you see this review and are considering a tattoo from here, it is one of the best places you could hope to go and Jack will surpass any expectations you have. I myself will go back for more in the future, and am so grateful to have had this experience. If Jack reads this… THANK YOU SO MUCH, your work is OUTSTANDING!!!

I've lost count the number of tattoos I've had the pleasure and honour from Pierce Of Art. All friendly and safety comes first's Not the most recent but this is dedicated to my soul baby Leelah - She had a very rough start to life and I didnt have much time with the soul baby but the memories and the bond was and will be like no other. I still feel the loss. We used to go on night time walks, I asked the tattooists to draw there own design with certain specifics and they hit the mark 10/10 Would recommend To anyone getting a tattoo - Numbing cream is okay we are not robots, Eat and drink before Music or something to watch If you get along with the tattooist/ your comfortable the tattoo process will be a dream
I have had multiple tattoos and piercings done here and they have been brilliant every time. Can be a little expensive, but you get what you pay for as they say! My most recent tattoo is in pictures, i love it!
My daughter went here for her ears pierced and I can't get over how excellent the staff were. Everything was completely transparent to what was going to happen for her and they showed her everything they were going to use. She had nerves going in but the staff helped her to relax and everything went perfect.
