Fresh ingredients and perfectly toasted sourdough makes me feel lucky this place is not too far away. Got to try the Reuben and Falafel this time around, can't wait to go down the list and try them all!
Location: kimmage. Maybe? Atmosphere: 21% Oxygen Staff: not unfriendly. Spend time talking to regulars. Ask too many questions regarding how I'd like coffee. Found this intimidating decided against coffee. Ordered: the spicey special and a roast beef sandwich. Despite the name only 50% of our sandwiches contained pickles. NB this was as advertised. The spicey special wasn't specially spicey however the beef was most certainly roasted. The sandwiches as can be seen in the evidentiary photos attached below were welll presented. And while I wouldn't make a pilgrimage to eat one of these sandwiches if you're in the area you should go. I state this as a sandwich pilgrim myself. It was too windy outside but I decided not to complain about the pickle I was in as on further thought I don't believe the owner or the staff have any power over the weather. If they do by chance and are reading this I'd appreciate less wind in future Yours kindly, S and B. Incidentally me and B are friends and not lovers. Vegetarian options: Yes they allow vegeterians. Kid-friendliness: The children in the restaurant didn't seem friendly. Parking: Doesn't have parking but sundrive electrical does and i do what I want. Wheelchair accessibility: I believe in it. Dietary restrictions: Spicey food occasionally gives me heartburn.
I ate at this place several times during my stay in Ireland because it was very close to where I was staying. I went for both breakfast and lunch, and the sandwiches are great! Everything I tried was very fresh and delicious, and the prices were decent as well. I highly recommend this cafe!
A very lovely place with a wide selection of sandwiches and salads at a reasonable price. Show up early during weekdays as lunch is packed!
This is a must in my neighborhood. Sandwiches and pastry are out of this world. The bread is so delicious and coffee too. Great staff. Highly recommendedFood: 5/5
The coffee is really good here as are the sandwiches but I am docking stars as from a sustainability point of view they continue to use plastic lids on their coffee cups plus the cups themselves are not compostable. This is a real shame to see these practices continue.
I found the veggie sambo to be very disappointing especially compared to the meat sambo my man friend had! I had the goats cheese sandwich and it said there should be roasted red peppers in it which I didn't find any of, when I opened it there were a few green peppers inside which is not the same and I thought it was quite dry. A chutney could have worked well. The size of his compared to mine and only a 1€ in the price difference!
My favourite coffee place in Harold’s Cross. Their chai latte is 10/10 & the sandwiches are delicious
Lovely wide variety of lunch and brunch items. Very good quality food. A small seating area outside but no inside dining area. Lots of people ordering take aways and they were super busy. We had a bit of a wait for our order sitting out, but it was worth the wait. Enjoyed very morsel. This is why they are busy.
Way over priced. Sandwiches not made with care. Long wait as they will serve regulars quicker. If you order something not on the menu they will make a face and put half the effort. I was charged 13.50 for a egg mayonnaise sandwich with bacon and extra bacon and was given 2 pieces of bacon. Down below was my friend's breakfast sandwich such a joke.
