Always amazing service. I just call up every month to order my repeat prescription and receive a text message when it is ready to collect. I drop in on my way home from work. There is always a parking space and I always get a friendly quick service. Cannot fault this chemist and would not want to go anywhere else.
Today the pharmacist has been really helpful, during a consultation. I have found that my experiences are quite mixed at this pharmacy as they can be very set in timescales when ordering prescriptions despite the fact that I cannot order a prescription on the app until a specific date and this doesn’t always allow for Pickford’s order window. I also no longer receive texts to say prescription s but I’ve had some resistance to check for prescriptions unless I have received a text so I now always say that I have as this has never been resolved. I’m happy enough but I’m used to there being some kind of issue from experience of the last couple of years.
Since moving over to Pickfords Pharmacy six months ago , I can honestly say it was the best move I have made.nAlways helpful, and receiving a text message when the prescription is ready to collect, for me is a positive step towards saving people’s time and costs.
Service became very poor when McGill sold to Pickfords. I changed to Weldricks which had proved to be vastly superior. Hopefully things will change when Weldricks take over
I changed from weldricks due to shocking service, I'm so glad I chose pickfords because they are great, all the ladies are lovely & so polite. The most important thing is the waiting time, I've honestly only ever waited about 5 minutes .
