Used this takeaway twice in two days despite living just around the corner for twenty years. The food is simple but well cooked, the service friendly, welcoming and polite. The pizza is very good. I recommend Picante without reservation.

Terrible experience!! Used plenty of times before, probably 2 x a month. But tonight driver could not find our home and after 10 minutes of being late, I rang the store and the guy hung up on me...so I then had a missed call from driver, which I called and asked how long he had been waiting, I said I would only accept delivery if food was still hot. He arrived and it was just warm, so I offered £20, he rang his boss, who hung up after saying he was too busy! So I refused delivery and guess what, 10 minutes later he calls back saying boss will take the 20...haha NO WAY, TOO LATE. Will NEVER order again.
Yum. Forget dominoes, pizza Hut et Al this is proper pizza! Thin Base, lots of topping and generous size. They also do fish and chips, which are soooo tasty. They don't deliver to nailsea for some reason, but they are easy to find, park and get your self! They do deliver to Portishead, Clevedon and around.
Thankyou so very much Pizza Picante for our gorgeous fish and chips this evening. We did not order until later, the food was piping hot the cod and chips absolutely gorgeous. The pizzas outstanding we just could not fault it the fish was so fresh. Thank you all so very much we rely appreciate it.

Excellent pizzas, good quality and fast and friendly service. *Update* since my review a year ago I need to add that we have tried other choices from the menu and every order has been top quality. We've ordered several times since my first review and the delivery guys are still very polite and efficient. Best battered haddock for miles!
Best Pizza and Best chips in Portishead. Food is always cooked fresh and always great quality. Staff are very friendly.
My Partner and I both ordered fish and chips from here this evening. The food is cooked to order so waited a short while until it was ready. Definately worth the wait, the food was cooked perfectly and was lovely and hot. If passing through Portishead again we will definately visit x
OMG..what a fab pizza. I was surprised. Went to Antonio's.. tasteless.. this is the bees knees.. had pesccatore..spicy ..garlic..lovely.. Highly recommended
