What a let down! I had very high expectations regarding this Restaurant but unfortunately I was disappointed. The service was on point and everyone was friendly but the food just wasn't that good. Starters were nice, but then the Milanese was way too thick even though the portion was massive. Desserts were disappointing. It's expensive and I would say it's good value. I'm sure there are other restaurants to visit !
Visited this Gem this evening. Had a wonderful experience. We were greeted by the friendly manager and served by attentive waitress. The food was just as amazing as the atmosphere. They also did a small gesture as it was my husbands birthday! Will surly hey visiting this place againRecommended dishesRisotto Al Tartufo
No doubts as an Italian that pasta dishes are good! However, we felt very misled by the 50% The Fork promotion. We ended up spending over £60 each for only a starter a pasta main each. They added £9 for a tiny portion of bread if you are wondering, no we didn't find any gold in it that we did not even ask for, and over £15 for 2 bottles of water! Decent food, good service and great interiors? certainly yes! Was it worth the money? definitely not! there are better quality and cheaper options nearby! including Eataly, only a few blocks away! Without a 50% discount we would have spent over 120£ each! Okay, everything in London has become more expensive than but you can find a one star Michelin restaurant for this price!!
Good ambience with great food choices. My friends and I were expecting a pizza but only available at weekends. Kibra is attentive in serving our food which makes the service better. Tiramisu is highly recommended. Will definitely come back here!Food: 4/5
We had a wonderful dinner at Piazza Italia! The interior design and ambience of the restaurant is perfect for a fine dining experience. Everything was amazing, we enjoyed our pastas and would recommend the linguine all’astice lobster and the Calamarata. The desserts were fantastic as well with the right amount of sweetness - would recommend the tiramisu and ‘The Piazza Tomato’. Huge shoutout and thank you to Sheggs and Alberto for their exceptional and professional service! Will definitely come back again.
Had a girly Saturday brunch and had a fab time. The architecture of the building is classical, with high ceilings, marble pillars and ceiling roses. The staff are incredible! Happy to serve, help and make you laugh or get you drunk with endless drinks with either, Prosecco, peach Bellini or Aperol. The menu style is great. So you choose a starter and then can have as many different mains as you can eat within 90mins… all served to you no buffet. And the cheesecake at the time I don’t like cheesecake! was delicious. Great for girly/friends meet ups a must on the eating bucket list!
I recently at the restaurant with an excellent location and a beautiful atmosphere, but unfortunately, the experience was mixed. Despite the charming ambiance, we waited for half an hour to be served, even though there were few other clients in the restaurant. It was frustrating to see other guests who arrived after us being served promptly while we waited. Additionally, we encountered an issue with spilled wine each time our glasses were filled, and the sommelier seemed indifferent to cleaning it up. However, Elena provided us with good service, which helped salvage the experience. We used a voucher for our meal, but bear in mind that the prices are quite high. While the food was okay, it didn't quite meet our expectations given the price point. On a positive note, the manager apologised for the extended wait and offered us a treat, which was a thoughtful gesture and appreciated. Overall, while the location and atmosphere were appealing, the service and value for money left something to be desired. With some improvements in these areas, this restaurant could truly shine.
Lovely place with amazing service! We got the bottomless drinks and the waiters were really paying attention and refilling our drinks all the time. The food was so lovely and Elena was amazing to help with our selection Also Bertalan was so friendly and accommodating! 10/10 experience would recommend
Fabulous place, lovely professional service by Bertalan and the food was delicious. Our first anniversary and we couldn’t have chosen a better way to celebrate. We also received a custom anniversary box with two bottles of limoncello which was a lovely surprise. Thank you.Food: 5/5
Great restaurant to meet up with your friends. Very beautiful building and welcoming staff, doesn’t get crowded and the tables are spread out well. Lengthy and interesting menu, but pizza is not on everyday. I recommend but it’s on the pricey side .Food: 5/5
