The service was appalling. I took my daughter yesterday, 22nd December 2014, for a meal - without a voucher. We arrived at 7.30 p.m. and left at 9.00 p.m. but only actually had a main meal. My first choice was a Pizza but I was told - at 7.30 p.m. - that they had sold out of Pizzas! Had it not been my daughter's birthday I would have complained about the service. We waited over half an hour for the bill. I did not have a voucher so paid full price for our meals.
Unfortunatly I'm unable to rate the food and service!!! after a lovely day on the beach we decided that Piatto looked like a lovely place for dinner to cap off the day. We saw a family in front of us looking a bit grumpy as they headed out of the door, and when we approached the desk, we asked for a table for three. The young mad huffed a bit and said "sorry, we can't fit you in", despite there being no one in the rear part of the resteraunt over his shoulder and only two tables taken in the front area which admitedly where fairly crammed with people. Frinton is a lovely town, but if the facilities there can't accomodate the people looking to spend a bit of time later in the evening then I fear it will never reach it's full potential. On an up note, we did walk further down the high st and had a lovely meal in the Star of India. I did look for an e-mail address so that I could write to Piatto directly but couldn't find one, so had no choice other that to vent my frustration publicly.
the food is the best you have to eat there pizza they are better then pizza huts i would recommend it too every one when you go there you will go back :-
