Photography Course London offers Digital SLR camera courses in Shoreditch, East Central London, E2 7PR which run during evenings, the daytime and on Saturdays. Besides Photography courses we provide Studio Lighting courses and one day photographic Workshops. We have Small Classes from just 6 people up to 10, to guarantee a high level of attention from your tutor. Our Central London location is easy to get to with great transport links and all of our tutors are Experienced Teachers as well as practitioners in the photographic industry.

One to One Photography & Photoshop tuition
One on One photography tuition is a great alternative to a course if you want to learn specific subjects, or perhaps you can't fit a course around your schedule. One to One tuition is the most efficient way of learning and in many ways more beneficial than a course as the student is allowed to work at their own pace and decide on the content. You can specify what parts of DSLR Photography or Photoshop you would like to learn or we can propose a course based on your prior knowledge and level. We also offer private tuition in Studio Lighting, Adobe Lightroom, Web Design and for video editing, Final Cut Pro X!

I had a great time at the Digital Photography Crash Course. As a complete beginner, I went in with basically no prior knowledge about my camera, but left feeling much more confident in my grasp of the basics, such as shutter speed, aperture and ISO. Our teacher Mikael was clear, concise and extremely helpful and patient. I would very much recommend this class to other beginners wanting to get a basic grounding in how to start using and enjoying their camera!

I took the lighting for portrait photography course with Mikael this week and I cannot recommend it enough. The day started with some theory and a discussion with Mikael about what we were individually looking to get out of the course. We then got an introduction to some lights both analog and digital as well as stands, backdrops and modifiers. Finally we got to experience a test shoot with a model and take photos ourselves using several different lighting setups. I would personally recommend this course to anyone from beginner to more advanced photographers looking to get a better understanding of lighting in a studio. I will definitely be returning to do some of the other courses they have to offer. Mikael has a deep understanding of photography and lighting and is very good at explaining complex theory in a clear way.

I had a 1-to-1 lesson with Gary, and it was brilliant. He answered all my questions, made everything really understandable and easy to grasp. It was straightforward and so much fun! I loved it, and I completely and utterly recommend Photography Course London, and Gary! I will be coming back to attend more courses, for sure!

I have recently completed the evening beginner digital photography course and I strongly recommend this to anyone who is trying to figure out how to start their photography journey and can't get their heads around camera settings and features. Mikael is an extremely competent and professional teacher and there is a perfect balance between the classroom based teachings and the practical sessions. The admin team is also very responsive and accommodating. By looking around online ,I believe this is course has the best balance between cost and quality. I had booked the Photoshop Foundation Level 2 course & just through the way it worked out on the day, it ended up just being me on the course with the course instructor, Mikael.  The level of knowledge and experience Mikael has around Photoshop as well as Bridge and Light Room Classic is phenomenal, on top of his extensive knowledge with photography.  This, however, was in no way overwhelming in the way he taught the course, Mikael tailored the course to my level of understanding and knowledge of Photoshop that I already had - I was given time to write any notes and, where needed, Mikael went over certain aspects again.  The course is structured in a way that encompasses practical learning with your laptop as opposed to power point presentations and technical jargon speak.  I have never been the most computer literate person, but I walked away from the course with a greater understanding and knowledge of photoshop and building blocks that I can practice with and use in my line of work.  I couldn’t recommend this course more.

Having never picked up a camera since the 80's, I felt really nervous about attending the beginner class due to my complete lack of knowledge. The class size was small, just 5 pupils including myself and the teacher was very patient and very good at explaining the different functions and uses. We got the opportunity to visit the local area to practice and I'm quietly impressed with the photo's I took. I'm looking forward to signing up to the next level too.

I attended the one day photography foundation course at the office in Shoreditch. The course instructor was very knowledgeable and provided an excellent forum for learning. There was a good mix of theory and practical elements which facilitated the learning process. Highly recommend to anyone who has a digital camera and wants to understand the basics of photography.

I highly recommend this course, I recently went to the level 1 beginner photography day course and I learnt so much from the theory of using my camera as well as creative tricks to produce amazing looking photos. It's also great to get feedback face to face and instantly tackling any issues or questions I had. My photos have instantly improved and I have signed up to their diploma. Looking forward to joining the other classes they have to offer!

Thank you for a fantastic day. I started the course with very limited knowledge of how to operate my camera and now I feel like I know exactly what I need to do.  I would highly recommend the level 1 course for anyone wanting to learn key skills,  fundamental to progress in photography.
