The young girl working in this shop today is letting your lovely team down. I hope the other lady in there gave her some customer service training and told her she was cold and rude. I've owned shops for decades and i'd be mortified if i thought i had staff like her talking to my customers that way. I've always had good service and good work in your shop. Let's hope she is more cheery and polite tomorrow.
The quality of the prints at this place has been very low. I used to get very high quality prints but if you look at these two images. they are both taken on film but the second looks like a low quality 2000s image. I’m not impressed by these prints. I’ll just have to get them developed online. In addition to this, I have a mask exception card due to a hidden disability which I don’t want to tell everyone about but I do wear my lanyard. This is the only shop in which they have told me repeatedly to wear a mask. This is discrimination. Especially when they themselves do not wear masks or they wear a mask shield which does very little to protect the spread of the virus. Overall it’s really sad to see that the only film photography shop is pretty awful given the love of film within the community.
I used this shop for a small but tricky printing job today. Stefan was an absolute star, so patient and helpful. Despite the apparent irritation of a female colleague, he remained calm, friendly and polite with exemplary customer service. Thank you Stefan, your help was much appreciated, you are an asset to this business.
I went there today to buy a camera in the window the bloke opened the door and rudely asked to wear a face mask he was so kurt I tried to explain to him I am exempt I pointed to my lanyard and tried to tell that I didnt need to wear a mask due to health issues he then numbered something and closed the door in my face abruptly I didn't get chance to explain why I was exempt .. I found him to be rude unhelpful and basically dosent so customers care . I wouldn't recommend anyone going there give the place a very wide birth never have I been refused to being severed whislt wearing a lanyard I felt really insulated by his rudeness. I plead with you not to go there and do business with him .
Has a wide selection of used film cameras, large stock of 35mm and more specialist films too. Sadly, I sent off several films to be developed through them and was very unhappy with the print quality - they were all heavily pixelated and very low quality - they've since remained in a drawer as I'm not willing to do a 30 mile round trip back to the shop to correct this if they even can!. I will continue to buy film etc, from them, but sadly they've lost my business when it comes to developing/printing.
The people who work there are lovely, polite and welcoming. There's a wide range of cameras and film available which is great. They also develop in house which is rare these days. I use this place now and then for developing film and usually the images come out okay for the price. I do find the film service pricey in comparison to places in Truro, but for an hour service and the only place in Falmouth that develop it's not bad at all. I would like to see the prices reduced a little to match places in Truro, since I believe there can occasionally be an issue with the quality of the photos.
AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!! Ambiguous, shady pricing, practically illegal with not being upfront in how much a simple dev & scan costs. Wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and voice my grievances but received no response. They obviously don’t care about their customers and want to get as much money from their customers as possible. I don’t care if you’re slightly more pricey but don’t tell me the full price after I’ve already paid and sent in my film! Very poor practice and won’t be using them again. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!! Much better options out there.
I went to the shop to take special passport photos for my 3 children. I needed the photos to have a blue background because this is not a UK passport . He asked for £12 per photo. I then asked how much he would charge for a standard photo, he said £6. I said OK I need 3 standard photos but with blue backgrounds, he said if you need a blue background then I will charge you £12 per photo. I said OK thank you and I walked away. He said sarcastically "Good Luck somewhere else". I had a much better luck somewhere else as I did with half the price . The man that served me seems to be the owner or the manager. I found him to be very grumpy, arrogant, and not nice at all. This is the third time I entered this shop and I always leave with a very bad experience.
Five star customer service. First came across these guys at Royal Cornwall. They are so helpful. Far better than dealing with faceless people online. These guys go out of their way to ensure you purchase the right product. THANK YOU
I wanted to use a local company to get my films developed which is a new experience for me as I just started to use film cameras, excited about seeing my new film I paid for postage and was told that they'd be posted on the Monday and receive them at the latest on the Wednesday, after not receiving them I contacted the shop in Falmouth and they told me that they were just sat there after complaining they agreed to post them. This is on the back on the Wadebridge shop informing me that I could get slides printed off my Kodak C41 film so I drove the 20 miles to Falmouth to be told that they couldn't do it so is had to pay quite a lot more to have them scanned and put onto disc... NO HAPPY and I wont be using them again.
