Great gym. Good hard work in a positive environment for all levels led by Kru Rick. I joined as a 40 something beginner 6 months ago and love it. Excellent tunes too!
Top tier gym that I'd recommend to anyone who wants to get into Thai Boxing. Classes are properly physical, not just some slow katas- with a solid warmup, gloves, pads, etc. A welcoming atmosphere with a good vibe all round. Adults class is at 19:15 so most should have time to get there after work. Reasonably priced too!
Great atmosphere and first class coaching. My 12 year old son has been attending for a few months and it has really boosted his confidence both mentally and physically. Rick, the owner was a world champion himself and has coached all his life.
Started to join the gym after a divorce to getting my confidence back and Rick couldn’t be any better. I joined with a friend and he immediately made us feel welcome and very supportive in new members. Great vibe everyone else made us feel very welcoming and really looking forward to my weekly training.
Whatever your goals are you’ll struggle to find a better gym than this. There’s no egos or bullies allowed - just great people pushing each other to be better. Kru Rick clearly loves what he does and it reflects in everything from the classes to the atmosphere. Doesn’t matter if you can’t do a single press-up yet, everyone is equal! Can’t recommend this place enough!
Returned to kick boxing after 20 years, was apprehensive at first but Rick and the crew have all made me feel very welcome and comfortable. Brought my 6 year old son last week and he loved it! Really happy to be getting on the road back to fitness with a great team.
My 7yr old son has been coming for almost a year now. Kru Rick and Charlie are excellent coaches for the kids in more than just kickboxing, the values of honesty, hard work and respect run through everything they do. Everyone who attends is made to feel welcome with the kids and adult students mixing in the gym between lessons. The new gym is also fantastic venue they should feel proud of.

absolutely brilliant place. kru Rick Lewis is amazing with my son all through out the time he has been coming he does private lessons with him aswell as class sessions and is so patient with him. my son loves him to bits as he has taught him loads and loads I recommend this club to anybody.
First started training here after running out of excuses whilst watching my son in the kids class. The gym and the people are all great: experienced people will happily help newcomers, no swearing and no egos. The “Phoenix family” mindset also runs through the place. Need a plumber, builder, solicitor….? You’re almost certainly training with one and your Kru will be able to put you in touch with each other. Want to take Muay Thai seriously and compete? No problem, Kru Rick comes from a strong Muay Thai lineage with the gym producing fighters and champions of all ages having been made here.
