You get a load of chips here. Always nice. They do chinese food and chippy food. The fish is amazingly massive.Food: 5/5
Can't falt the chips and sausage and sweet and sour chicken with rice I had. But removed one star because in this day and age when most of us do not carry cash, to find that they didn't take card payments was disappointing, luckily I just had enough to cover or would have had to go hungry. Can't see me going on when passing again don't want to have to stop in cash machine before eating.
This is a must on your take away list.. You order fresh and it's usually ten minutes... Nice and hot.. I've been going there since it opened. I've added another golden star to the review
Rice was so old it took effort to move it around the plate, O.K sauce tastes more like sweet and sour, bbq sauce isn't proper bbq sauce! And the "prawn" toast didnt have any prawn in it! Won't be going here again!
Had read a number of really positive reviews so we were looking forward to our first Chinese takeaway on Anglesey. Service in the shop was very efficient and friendly with good Covid control measures in place for people collecting in-store. When we sat down to our meal, we were just very underwhelmed and it's the first time in our history that we threw away most of the meal with no attempt to complete it. Very disappointed, sorry guys
We were staying nearby & checked out the interweb to view the local takeaway offerings - Phoenix scored well so we gave them a spin. They don't deliver & only take cash, which is a shame, but we ordered anyway. Our order was ready when I arrived, the staff were courteous & the food was just gorgeous. Thanks Phoenix - see you next time I'm staying nearby.
Honestly , the nicest takeaway on the island. We've been coming here for years, and I can't fault a thing. The food is absolutely delicious, highly recommend special starter box, you get loads in there, absolute bargain! Salt and pepper chips are devine, the chow mein beats any other Chinese I've ever tried, and the price is reasonable too
We visited the area recently, looked for a good takeaway and settled on the Phoenix. The other reviews are spot on. Wish we had this takeaway near where we lived! If you like chips too, you won't be disappointed here either.
Delish ! Huge portions, plenty of meat and flavour.
Really nice takeaway. Fresh, tasty and excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend :
