This is a very good chinese take away. Today I went in ordered my meal, just got home and there was a knock on my door, opened the door and it was Mias husband with a bag of chip's sorry he said we forgot to put it in your order. Where else would you get that service? Thank you.
Have been a patron of this place for a good few years. The best chicken fried rice in town by far! Never had any problems; a simple yet solid and affordable service all round. If you have a craving for Chinese food or even a bit of good old English in or around the Crook area, this is absolutely the place to go.
Food very good, noticed that the special curry had fewer more expensive ingredients, a lot of sauce. Understand that due to increases in everything, that and an increase in prices due to inflation though means less value for money. Nonetheless, a high quality take away. Nice guy who delivered too.
Don't often do these reviews but just had a beautiful meal from here delivered early and piping hot was delicious will definitely be ordering again
For me I did not find their food very appealing. Firstly I did order 2 wrong items so we ended up with no rice but their meat was soft and chewy sorry but found the whole meal disappointing and it wasn't cheap. Not for me.
Beautiful takeaway for our wedding anniversary, and arrived bang on the time we requested it to be delivered. And was piping hot on arrival .also they put a piece of cake in for us to celebrate our anniversary so nice of them. Best chinese in the area by far ..
Waited 2 hours for food, rang up to see where it was to be told it was a minute away, 30 minutes later no where to be seen, rang up again to rude customer service, told it again was a minute away... cancelled order as was not prepared to pay £30 for that service!
Placed an order for delivery on Saturday evening, we live a couple of miles away in Hunwick. Our address was taken and we were told delivery would be 35 minutes. An hour passed and the shop called to say there had been a mix up, however our meal would be with us in 5-10 minutes. 35 minutes passed so we called the shop to enquire where our order was. They said they though we were collecting despite the previous calls and taking our address, we cancelled. Sadly I would not recommend this takeaway.
Just ordered a Curry and it was dreadful, the Chicken was all soft and soggy and made me feel sick from the texture. Never had Chicken like it. Will definitely not order from there again.
Disgusting food found 5 hairs in my rice
