"Pho Oxford is a healthy Vietnamese restaurant with loads of vegan and gluten free options. We specialise in pho, the Vietnamese noodle soup, and also serve delicious curries, rice dishes, wok-fried noodles and healthy salads, too. We also have loads of starters that are perfect for sharing with friends and family.Over a third of our menu is vegan, and nearly all of it is gluten-free, so we are a great destination for people who follow those particular diets. We are accredited by Coeliac UK.Aside from our lovely food we offer a brilliant range of healthy juices, as well as delicious wine and beer, and a fantastic cocktail menu too.If you’re unable to dine-in, you can click & collect your order, or find us on Deliveroo."

Really tasty food, low calorie options and fast serving. Although the place was full of smoke. The curry was delicious. The rice bowl was also great, the meat was tender and the rice itself had a smokey flavour. I am not sure if the waffle was supposed to have a different taste to regular waffles, but for me it tasted just like a normal waffle... sweet and tasty nonetheless!
Great food and amazing service! We walked in on a weekday without reservation and we got seated in only 10 minutes and got our food in less than 30. The staff were really nice and most importantly very friendly and accommodation to our dog! We got a shrimp pho and a veggie one with vegan meat that was delicious and looked and tasted like real chicken. I hope more people show love to this place as it's in a great location and I can tell that all workers there are working really hard!
I Initially chose this restaurant as it is coeliac accredited; and I was blown away. All their food was fresh and hot when it arrived. My main was the 3 meat rice bowl; and all the toppings and flavours worked wonderfully together. Every table has an assortment of spices, garnishes and sauces that you can use to personalise your meal. I felt very safe from contamination as there are only a couple of items on the entire menu that contain gluten, and the staff seemed very understanding after informing them of my dietary requirements. Once the food arrived the staff also explained the best way to eat it, which I think is very useful for people if they want to enjoy their meal the traditional way. The restaurant is situated on the rooftop of the Westgate, with a very fitting interior, but it was quite dark where I was sitting. Also as a student, Pho gives 15% off with ID, which is another reason why I’ll be returning very soon!
Great food always. I prefer mango/chicken salads and always the crispy veg spring rolls with peanut sauce. Amazing atmosphere. Only feedback is request for servers to wear masks, if they don’t, then to keep distance from customers even when taking orders. The day we went, 1 server were awfully close to my face, made me feel uncomfortable.
We expected the beef of Pho Xao Beef and Pho House may be chewy; however, we also found the steak of Pho Steak was also very chewy. The sliced steak would be better to be left to the vegetable side dish than the hot broth which might further overcook the steak. The raw beansprouts could be left to the broth that the heat of the broth could slightly cook the beansprouts which could still be crunchy. The chicken of Pho House was tasteless. The beef broth of Pho House and Pho Steak was ok. The seafood spring roll was less than the expectation. The service was not as good as we noted from the website comments. Although we understood that Saturday afternoon was busy, we found we were rushed to pay the bill right after the main.
Typical food court style. Don’t expect delicious. Ordered two pho noodles. I don’t like the noodles as the feel isn’t right for those I have. Soup just warm not hot. I had curry king prawn pho. Look like shrimps not king prawn. Tea is fine but just a tiny cup.
Had an absolutely amazing experience at Pho recently. The food was great and the service too was amazing. Cannot wait to go back again!
Amazing Vietnamese food! So fresh and such hearty quantities! We had the beef pho and mushroom pho, along with chicken vermicelli noodles- everything was delicious. As soon as you enter the restaurant, the aroma that wafts in takes you to the streets of Vietnam. Highly recommend booking a table at the weekend as it gets very full very quickly.
We've been to a few Pho branches before and we're so delighted to learn that the Oxford branch is dog friendly! Finally, a food outlet that welcomes dogs that isn't a cafe or a pub. The waiters and waitresses at this branch are so friendly and helpful. My pup got more chicken than we did but we love the way the staff are so warm same welcoming. Please keep up this positivity!
Absolutely fantastic !!! I love the Pho pronounced as 'Fuh', traditional Vietnamese soup here. Although they have slightly adapted it to the British taste by making it less hot & spicy, the taste is really good and it's the best thing to choose in Pho. Among starters, I would recommend Rolls. Besides their amazing Pho, the rice bowl Spicy Chicken is also good and worth giving a try. We also chose Pandan waffles with coconut icecream in desserts, and it was amazing. The ambience is quite nice and the staff are very friendly. They have good knowledge and if you are in doubt, they take time to explain everything to you. The only little problem they have is that the service is slightly slower, especially on weekends, and it might take up to half an hour for food main course to arrive.
