"The Pharmacy 2 Café offers an informal menu of snacks and drinks and is open during Newport Street Gallery hours.Whilst the gallery hosts exhibitions of work from Damien Hirst’s art collection, the café features site-specific custom pieces from a number of the artist’s own series, including the Medicine Cabinets and butterfly Kaleidoscope paintings. Designed entirely by Damien Hirst, the Pharmacy 2 cafe also has etched glass windows depicting DNA strands, marble inlayed flooring and a bar that incorporates a stainless steel and glass vitrine."

I really liked the interior designed by Damien Hirst. When I have been visiting, no service was offered. Just a pot of free coffee and tea. But it was fine for me, so I had the cafe for myself.Atmosphere: 5/5
I had this place on my list for a while. The food is ok, not as good as I was expecting. The best thing is actually their bottomless bloody Mary's which were great. Attentive service. Cool atmosphere. Location wise it's quite isolated.
Theme isn't only what this place is about. Sure. It's got a Pharmacy theme. It prompts lots of discussion as Damien Hirst has clearly either customised everything or come up with it from scratch - wallpaper, chairs, embroidered booth seats prescription bar, surgical instruments. Usually places like this depend on the theming to pull themselves through. This place has a unusual selection of bottomless bloody Marys and Bellinis. Also interestingly there is a section on the menu dedicated to Girolles based dishes. Some unusual egg based dishes for brunch also feature - the more run of the mill Canard and less run of the mill Legbar. Super tasty all around. Not badly priced for what it is. Go there.
Great decor and service. Food was eclectic and delicious. Small portions but very satisfying.
The best art Caffè i have ever seen. The combination of art, people and good quality of coffee makes you so happy and excitied.
Disappointing menu Appreciate the effort in decoration but the atmosphere is stressful and strange The place is also a bit hard to find Some of the items on the menu were tasty fish
Great food, cool décor, friendly staffs. Definitely worth to sit down have a nice meal after visit the gallery. Love this place.
A seriously quirky, cool and chic pharmacy themed cafe in a beautiful gallery. Somehow not inundated with tourists, remarkable given the association with Damian Hirst.
Very cool and well styled venue, super aesthetically pleasing. However, I do feel as a restaurant it goes a bit far in creating a clinical environment, I didn’t feel particularly comfortable or warm. Food was good value for money we had the Sunday roast menu and good portion size. It was all very tasty and my partner and I both cleared our plates.
The portion sizes are on the small side with both the starters and the mains. The desserts obviously smaller with the title "mini puds", but everything tasted really good so can't complain too much but it did feel weird eating in such a sterile looking environment. Loved the butterfly kaleidoscope art on the walls and will go back to try the cocktails.
