Looked after our cat with diabetes, friendly, very helpful staff couldn't fault them. Our new cat Inka loved her visit for her inoculations
Visited on Thursday to buy some new dog food to our puppy on as she had been continuously vomiting since we got her. I asked for some advice on the different types to food to help with making a choice are there are so many options and I wasn’t sure what would be best for her. The staff get training on nutrition and Becca was absolutely amazing. She took time to ask about our puppy and what the problem was, explained what all the different ingredients are, the pros and cons as well as sharing her own experiences. Really helpful and genuinely cared. Thank you Becca for everything!! Pets are home Newgate Lane will be our choice of store from now on!

Friendly staff who are knowledgeable about the products and keen to help. Good range of pet stuff in stock, but then it's a pet shop, so you kind of expect that, don't you? You can also take your animals in with you, and all the staff seem to be animal lovers too.

Product offered for sale as reduced. When we got to the check out...had to pay full price. There was no sign of it being a mistake, but we still had to pay full price!

Dog, cat, bunny, reptile, fish food, comfort housing. Staff very polite. Good knowledge of a range of pets. Vet service in the store. The girl with the large lashes, is very helpful. Nothing is too much for her
I was rather appalled by a girl who served me today I think her name was Niamh. She wasn’t very assertive and didn’t exactly give me the best advice in regards to my elderly dog who isn’t exactly in best health which I made very clear. I really hope this gets taken seriously as it can be crucial to an owner as they might not have access to vets especially with the pandemic and set backs at the minute.
