They have a nice selection of aquarium tanks, artificial and real plants, natural-looking decorations, and some whimsical ones. Also, a good variety of fish. Lewis was very welcoming and was very helpful in choosing a tank.
Do NOT buy fish from here. The tanks are in the worst conditions I've ever seen in a shop! Half the tanks have no or hardly any water flow in them, there are dead snails everywhere and algae and detritus in every tank. I will be reporting this to authorities. Terrible state!
Great staff very helpful. I went in to buy a guinea pig cage and all accessories for my daughter with not a clue what I needed. Came out with everything I needed and with so much more knowledge. Can highly recommend this branch
I always go to pets at home for their pet food. It's convenient and the prices are good. I would say, though, that their dog toys are more aimed towards dogs with softer jawed, not bull breeds or larger dogs. I have a bully and it's hard to get the right toys as he will literally destroy a toy within 5mins unless it's incredibly strong material.
I had an extremely frustrating experience with Pets at Home Vet Wimbledon. I sent an enquiry over a week ago regarding my pet's situation, but I still haven't received any response. I followed up with a phone call to express my concerns, hoping to get advice and book an appointment. However, the staff member I spoke to was unhelpful and told me I needed to come in and register in person before booking an appointment.nnI checked their website, which states they close at 7pm, so I made the trip after work, arriving around 6pm—only to find the vet already closed! I tried speaking to someone at the vet, but they told me I needed to call to make an appointment, with no mention of an emergency service. I was left standing there, angry and frustrated, feeling like my time was completely wasted. It’s shocking that no one offered me any help, especially if my pet had been in a more serious condition.nnIf my pet’s health had been critical, this lack of support could have had terrible consequences. Their service is unreliable, and I would advise anyone who values their pet's wellbeing to look elsewhere. I found another vet in the end who was far more responsive and caring.
