I recently visited Pets at Home with my daughter who has just got 2 cats Suzy was amazingly patient & helpful, nothing was too much trouble, and she gave us lots of useful advice. The staff in this store are always very friendly & helpful, bur Suzy definitely goes the extra mile
We found what we wanted and asked lots of questions regarding fish for a future plan. They gave us lots of guidance and encouragement and went through the procedures to buy which I was unfamiliar with. At checkout, I was getting the app up which has changed and the cashier helped me get to the vouchers and got some discounts I didn't know were there. Every staff member was friendly and helpful and it was a pleasant experience after a busy weekend.
Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. No longer have the vivariums and live reptiles/amphibians, but do still see live insects and frozen mice.
Lovely tidy store. Bought ourselves a little hamster. Not sure if he has been handled at all prior to buying though. After having hamsters previously, he’s much more nervous than any other hamster weeks on.
Went in for puppy pads for my male puppy as I have previously bought them from Amazon I was greeted by a very rude member of staff who I presume was in charge as another member of staff had to get this person very rude

My son bought me a fish tank for my birthday, after it was set up I needed some fish. The staff were lovely, very knowledgeable.
Good variety of things for lots of pets and wild birds. Grandsons loved looking at the small animals. Staff were polite and helpful.
Hamster for £11. Ideal. Pressure to buy other stuff and having to prove the size of the cage before we were allowed to take a dwarf hamster home seemed a bit over the top. I get it if some random young person walked in asking for one but a respectable-ish family with 2 kids? But I can't knock the responsibility taken before allowing someone to take an animal home. Decent size store and car park on the marina.
Didn't have what I wanted but told to phone next day as delivery coming
