"A charmingly casual yet sophisticated restaurant, set within a greenhouse. Brimming with fragrant bougainvillea and jasmine, draped with Indian blinds and decorated with antique furniture, mirrors and paintings. Respecting the Slow Food philosophy, the Café serves seasonal, Italian inspired food."

Managed to book a last minute sitting for NYE lunch service and was not disappointed. All of the food was perfection, loved each dish and the cocktails were good. Large selection of wines, mostly by the bottle though. Beautiful setting, especially when the evening drew in and it got darker. Staff were welcoming and our main server Vivienne was charming and warm, some of the male staff who brought our dishes less so but not because they were rude just put the dishes down and left without saying anything. It's great food and worth the price in my opinion, wide selection on the menu. Great for a little treat or a special occasion.
Came here over jubilee weekend. Fantastic setting, sat in a giant conservatory surrounded by magnificent plant life. Food was a set menu for £90 including a free drink which was actually pretty good value for money! Service was warm and attentive. Would definitely return
Food: 5/5 Presentation: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 Service: 4/5 I’ve been here a handful of times and reserved for lunch. All times I’ve eaten here the delicacy taken in the dishes were exceptional. I truly understand why they’re a Michelin Green restaurant. Definitely a place for a special occasion to enjoy a three course meal. I’ll definitely come back again.
I wanted to love this restaurant and if it was down to the ambience this would be a five star but for £90 per person I expected the food to be out of this world and it wasn’t. On top of this you will also need to factor the cost for sides because for that price it’s not included! We have been to other high end restaurants in London and were looking for something more local, I am not sure we will be back. The food was good but not outstanding for the price, the ambience is lovely so unique being in a greenhouse and the staff we really attentive.
Beautiful location and very well maintained nursery. The afternoon tea was excellent, we multiple teas, though the best thing was the pastries themselves - and there’s tonnes of them. The scones are to die for and are very filling. Generous portions.
Fantastic place with a dreamy garden which makes it a very romantic choice for dinner. The dinner menu was of great quality although a bit overpriced at £90/person. The staff could have been a bit friendlier but overall I would recommend!
The place is amazing. Especially if you like flowers in any form. This is where you can spend the entire Sunday afternoon Next to the cafe there is a shop with beautiful things, from furniture to home accessories and plants that can be purchased. I have a few reservations about the cafe. First, I ordered American coffee. The waitress served cool coffee despite the fact that there were quite a lot of waitresses on that day. The coffee tasted very average, I would say it was a bit burnt. The food is surprisingly disappointing for its price. I ordered a quiche, normally in any other cafe this type of food is served hot. Here it was served cold, there was no information on the menu that it would be cold. Otherwise, I wouldn't have ordered such food. The more that it was a quiche with cheese, the cold version tasted terrible, and the taste of the cheese eaten cold - I don't recommend it to anyone We wanted to order scones as dessert but were served with whipped cream I asked if it was possible to order the scones without any extra cream or jam and if we would still be charged the same price then. The waitress didn't even check the system or ask the manager. Her answer was simple - no, the price would not change. We ordered scones anyway, the waitress didn't ask if we wanted it to be served hot or cold. We received cold scones, hard, not fresh, with a little butter mixed with whipped cream and a little jam... The price of the dessert was £ 6 which is outrageous for me for what we got....
The food was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is lovely! The place is kinds friendly as well. Highly recommend. But book in advance as there no chance for walking ins.
Sat in the outdoor garden area for lunch on a hot day, the trees provided shade and we were regularly topped up with ice water. I had set menu chicken potato main and apple strudel with ice cream dessert. The main tasted was very buttery. The dessert was very delicious. They provided baby hight chairs and a children's menu of fish and potatoe, and crayons and paper for older children. overall child friendly. They were able to change the pasta starter to a main. The toilets are in a wooden shed. Parking was a nightmare, you have to be lucky to get a space, ended up parking on a residential side road. It is expensive and the food is not amazing. Your paying more for the decor.
Very nice ambience if you like pants and flowers. It’s a very typical country side feel. The food is ok, tortellini was amazing but beef not so much. The lady at the entrance is exceptionally good. Thank you for looking after us.
