With the pool closed, I had to figure out a maze of stairs and corridors to get to one room. It took 10 minutes to find. The staff were very friendly but nobody gave directions. It is still a great place to go to!!

The new gym is terrible. If you're looking for a gym with NO AIR CON, then this they gym for you. If you also enjoy not getting parked on a night, then this is the gym for you. If you enjoy going to a gym full of kids messing about, then this this the gym for you. The new gym is a big white elephant with no atmosphere and poor quality machines. 100's of members have recently left . Their are so many better gyms to go to in Peterlee than the Leisure Centre. Just because it's new, doesn't mean its better. Don't be fooled.

Some new equipment . A lot of space. Beware the squat rack...on foam not ideal for stability when squatting apart from that all good

Love the classes with jackie ..pity the boss wasnt as helpfully....people haven't got a clue what the timings like for the refurb...it's not good that the staff get no help from higher up...booking classes are all wrong .as it always says waiting list then other people don't get called for space....
