Had to attend minor injuries due to a burn and staff were amazingly kind & helpful. Almost 2 weeks on and healed beautifully due to their support & care.
Necessary place to visit and helpful caring staff. However, only the words 'car parking!' spring to mind. Too few spaces and watch for drivers coming into the entrance road . Sorry for staff trying to find a space.
Stepfather went over with breathing issues and he’s chronic copd, emphysema, and asmtha was told he could pop up anytime, was then told he’s having a conversation so it can’t be that bad, 0/10 wouldn’t recommend.
Nice and helpful staff. Bit run down and waiting times are a long longer than they should be... but that's a wider issue than just in Peterhead.
I struggle to understand why when Casualty is empty , they still won't treat you without appointment. I could understand it if they were busy. Luckily i had already been on phone with 111 and they took me in. I spent 5 minutes watching the crown of a receptionists head the other day, they never looked up, clearly just an ornament. Our caring profession is broken to some extent. I blame poor leadership and management promoting this illogical and lazy system. Its a shame skill is not being utilised properly. Regular surprise inspections should be brought in, just like they have in care homes.
