Fresh fish clean oil. Not much to ask but so few chippies adhere to these basic requirements that go towards great fish and chips. I am not local I work all over the Midlands. I am a person who will throw away bad fish and chips straight after tasting I've waked out of chips shops based upon smelling old oil old fish etc fish should not smell fishy or taste fishy. Yes I have had better chips but Pete's chips are still 8 out of 10. The fish on the other hand 10 out of ten for consistency, quality and taste 😋 how it supposed to be.

Great food here. I've always loved the food from Pete's. It's just so expensive. The portions are always good, and the fish are huge. It's just paying nearly £10 for fish and chips for one person is actually really quite shameful in all honesty. I haven't been here for a while now because I just simply can't afford it, and even if I was better off, I'd still feel a little ripped off and probably go elsewhere anyway. Award winning food, not so award winning prices.

Great chips. Me and my family always go on holiday and have fish and chips but they are never as good as Pete's chips

Extremely good chip shop. Staff were great and food tasted really good. Highly recommend! Parking is a little difficult that's the only downside.

Always a good choice of food, cooked fresh, tastes amazing. Dont forget to like them on facebook for chances to win free food.
