Always found Pete's Airlink very easy to deal with and incredibly helpful. Buses are clean, drivers are polite, professional and prompt. The office staff are knowledgeable and they will always do thier best to accommodate, even at short notice. A great reliable local company.
In July 2022 we booked Pete's Airlink for an 8 person return airport trip for early 2023. The price was very reasonable and we were told we could pay cash on the day which was lucky... they later requested money but honoured the agreement when I said we were originally told we could pay cash on the day. However I am SO glad we didn't part with money before this point. I phoned on the Friday before the Saturday collection to confirm pick up. The person checked our details and said we were all good to go the following day at 6am. It got to 6 and we were a bit confused as normally taxis arrive early so I left it until 6.03am and then phoned. I got a standard out of office message but they left an emergency number which I called and was told they'd look into it. 10 minutes later the phone rings - the driver had covid and knew since the previous day but hadn't told anyone at Pete's airlink. Obviously now we are panicking as we have an early flight to catch, 8 adults all with suitcases for a long holiday, and no way to get to Gatwick. There was no apology from Pete's airlink, but they told us they would phone around other drivers and get back to us. At around 6.20am they phoned back and said it would be 40 minutes until a driver could be with us. This would have made us late for the airport. This was an exceptionally stressful start to a long awaited family holiday, made worse by the lack of apology or care given. We heard nothing from the company again until I emailed to cancel the return trip, at which point we received an apology. I'm just relieved we hadn't parted with any money at this point. I wouldn't rely on this company for transport at all due to the poor communication within the company when drivers are unwell and then of course the poor communication with the customer.
This company is terrible. I’ve been cut off on the motorway by them and now they’ve parked so close to my car that I am unable to move it for the whole weekend. This has happened by Milton Park. Update I have spoken with the company as they are open on weekdays they are very polite said the driver out remove the vehicle straight away was so apologetic I am now going to change my review for one star to 5 great work guys great way to deal with the public
We booked a few buses for our hen night last week, and what a fantastic experience we had. One of the drivers Reece made our night. Nothing was to much trouble, and he had us laughing the whole way there and the whole way back. The bus was clean and he wasn’t afraid to turn the music to maximum!! I would definitely recommend this company, and if you can request Reece! You won’t be disappointed!! Stacey
Absolutely fantastic company, would highly recommend. Took and picked up 13 of us to the airport. Also waited for us as our bags were delayed. Fab price would definitely use again.
Driver speeding and driving dangerously. I did not feel safe at all. I have also learnt one of their drivers has killed a dog whilst driving in this manner, so it seems they do it all the time
We booked a return minibus to get to and from a party. Excellent service, the minibus arrived early for both trips. Would use Pete’s Airlink again.
Very good service took all my family to the iona ship in southampton on the 19/7/22 and picked us up on the 23/7/22 no problem nice drivers well dune
This man lives opposite me. He has 2 buses in the road. One of which he deliberately parks accross my driveway, blocking it from anyone who needs access it. He also is extremely arrogant and rude if he is approached with the problem. Sticking his middle finger up and swearing. His driving is as bad as his parking. He is a road rage maniac. Do not use this service, the driver is extremely dangerous with his lack of driving skills.
Do not use this company, they think is it ok to run down a dog, which died, and drive away. When challenged they deny it. If your a true dog lover do not use this service.
