The service is good, the flowers were good. However the owner has a huge dog that was sitting on the counter as I was paying. He always walks it with no lead while it growls and chased a cat nearby! Irresponsible and just makes visiting here awkward & uncomfortable

IGNORANT OWNERS!! I HAVE BEEN GENEROUS IN AWARDING ONE STAR IN ORDER TO NAME AND SHAME THIS SHOP! I have been a Good Customer Since Steele's Owned this Garden Centre . I Was A Customer of Petal Power On 7th March 2017. This Shop Believe it or Not Ladies and Gentlemen Actually make Your Shopping Experience An Absolute Nightmare! They Have CCTV Installed and they are watching the screens all the time because they delight in catching thieves. The Owner Briege Boasted in How they have a Personal relationship with : The PSNI Newtownards Northern Ireland. She Also Was Telling me that Her Son is A Barrister and they just aim to prosecute Everyone if it were the Queen These people would Prosecute Her ! Just A little Word of Warning!! Be Aware If You purchase an item in this Very Snobbish shop make sure that you know that you cannot get a Refund no matter what! The Very Most You Will get is Abuse From Them! My Experience with this Shop has been a complete and Utter Nightmare! They don't give Refunds and They only issue You with an exchange or a credit note if you meet the Criteria! They use a Magnifying 🔍 glass to inspect the product you take back! They are Judge Jury and Head Executioner ! Well it makes me laugh out loud to see how the other half live. The Male owner was coming out of Asda in Newtownards and he didn't have his bag for life with him? Oh what a Great laugh he didn't pay for a bag yet he was Juggling all his food products and dropping them at the same time! They Charge Very High Prices for Well Let's say Weeds Rather than Flowers! You can guess how much greenery goes into a Coffin Spray when I thought it was a great place to go to pick greenery for my own Grave Arrangement. Briege is Very Two Faced as I told her that I shopped with Amazon UK Marketplace and She said Shame On You Robert! Ok well who could blame me? In Amazon an Giselsa Gragham Easter Egg Door Wreath is £18.00 with Petal Power the same item retails @ £29.99 What a massive profit they are making! This place really is a Rip Off Both with flowers and gifts they have very large Windows and No Respect for their Customers what so ever! I can Verymuch relate to Mrs. Anderson's review as she only gave this place a rating of 1 star too! You are treated as a Criminal Shopping in this Garden Centre. You can also enjoy their Coffee ☕ Shop You might as well be in a barn at a farm yard. As my friend and I have been to the coffee ☕ Shop . We got soup and we found a hair in our Soup. It was raining ☔ really heavy and my friend said Robert now we are getting the sound effects too! Anyway we were actually looking for blankets and I said maybe a bale of hay or Two would make it look like a barn. They have a Food Hygiene Rating of 5 Stars I think that this was an error with the Health and Hygiene Regulations! Any Personnel Working in a Kitchen needs to be dressed in a Chefs or Cooks Uniform and the hair must be tied and covered at all times! I know because I have studied Catering in The Northern Ireland Hotel And Catering College Portrush! I have also worked as a Head Chef and What I have saw with my own eyes One of the shop assistants going from Floral arranging into the Kitchen. This in my Expertise Opinion Is DEFINITELY NOT ALLOWED IN ANY CATERING ESTABLISHMENT! You either pay someone as a Florist or You Pay them for their Catering Skills! Can I just ask You a Question At Petal Power? It is Against Trading Standards to advertise something as homemade and the Catering Establishment Buying in all Food Products from other outlets! THIS IS TOTALLY AGAINST THE TRADING STANDARDS ACT ! Your Employee can either be a Florist / Shop Assistant Definitely Not Both! It is Compulsory As In The Catering Field You Must Wear Full Uniform whilst working with food! I would like to Question How This Cafe Has been awarded 5 for hygiene standards. Because whilst I was a Customer in the cafe I observed an employee of the cafe playing and fiddling With her hair whilst preparation of food! Seeing This Put me off From Purchasing Any Food!

I ordered flowers for my late father's funeral and the care and consideration from the staff in taking the order was excellent - the floral display met our needs to perfection.

My sister always buys from this shop she went in today shop assistant was on the phone taking a phone order my sister left her purchase on counter and had another browse around while assistant finished her phone order my sister was standing waiting to pay ALL of £2.62 when other assistant said over walkie-talkie ohh don't worry she's with you now to say my sister was shop lifting she then went to get the bus Home and one of the assistants walked by her at the bus station WRONG my sister is the most honest person I know she will never shop there again......The only reason for star is because have to rate before posting. So therefore no stars..
