Wonderful little local shop that manages to provide an amazing range of products despite their small size. They are always friendly and go above and beyond for their customers. Having a charming place to go like this where people remember your face is so much more satisfying than buying online or in a big chain store. Keep it up guys.

Love this place and the owner is very informative.I have purchased several fish and a tank from here,all resonably priced,along with my mum. Highly recommended.The shop is immaculate and they sell a full range of pets/pet equipment/food anything larger stores stock. Thank you so much for everything,we will be back soon!!

I rang the shop and wanted a bit of advice about a quiet, reliable and good value filter for my fishtank. I'm not the most experienced fish tank owner so it was nice to get an experienced person on the other end of the phone who could give me a simple and honest answer and it gave me the confidence to go and get it. I've fitted it in the tank and I'm really happy with it. I'm not local to the shop but it's certainly worth the journey and it'll be my new go-to place.

I am surprised to see the negative comments about this shop and it seems that people nowadays are so needy and selfish that they often find joy from posting hurtful things about such a wonderful business. It doesn’t make those people look good, it makes them look foolish and I agree whole heartedly with the owners responses to those rude customers that have commented on here. I have bought my rabbits and guineapigs from this shop as well as their food and supplies over the past 12 years and have never had a problem. Both the owner and staff are incredibly lovely and it’s very clear that they put a lot of hardwork and dedication into what they do. I have never seen as clearer and more beautiful fish tanks as I have in this shop and all the fish I have bought have lived years and years past their expectancy because of the 5* treatment they received when at Pet Talk. Don’t let the rude negeativity deter you from shopping at this wonderful small business. If you want the top quality products for a much cheaper value then shop at Pet Talk. I am a huge animal lover and I am very glad that I found this shop. Excellent service and 5* products and animals!

Such a lovely shop. Had lots of things for cats and dogs

So after stepping into this shop earlier this week, originally to buy some decent toys for my ferret, my attention was drawn to two really friendly budgies. I inquired about them and a setup and I decided to come back with my partner later on in the week.  Today me and my partner went back to the shop so I could show him why I had fallen for these amazing little birds. We were stood there for awhile talking it over and the guy who I spoke to earlier on in the week was stood in the same area on his phone but no sooner did my partner leave my side to look at the fish, the same guy approached me and told me the same two budgies I was interested in had been sold to his mother-in-law, which was fair enough but he said it with such an attitude problem and the way he came to me while my partner was else where made me feel targeted.  Myself and none of my family will be stepping foot in this shop again due poor customer service.  A REPLY TO YOUR REPLY: Actually I did go around the area where the small animal toys were being displayed earlier in the week maybe your CCTV didn't pick up that and maybe you didn't notice because you was to busy with something else and yes I made the mistake of putting my finger in fo allow one of the budgies to friendly groom it and I respect that I was told for that.  Like I said "fair enough" to informing me that the budgies were sold, but it's attitude I have the problem with, not the shop, not the welfare of the animals, the attitude. I understand that you can't always put yourself in your customer's shoes but just you can't see it from their view doesn't mean it didn't happen.
