We didn't book in advance as it was a last minute decision, it was very busy when we arrived but we was seated very promptly. Service was quick. Staff couldn't do enough to help. Food was absolutely amazing. As the fussy vegetarian in the group even I found the variety of vegetarian dishes adequate. Plenty to pick from. Even more if you eat meat. Food came piping hot and delicious. Food & drinks: Food was absolutely amazing. This is the 4th time visiting now and it just gets better every time. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options. I'm very fussy and I even found plenty of options.
Was served by Joel. Who was very attentive to our needs and couldn't do enough to make sure we had a great time. Not only there for valentines but my husbands birthday too. Excellent service, food and atmosphere. Value for money with a great selection of foods to chose from. 5* Tiramisu. All staff were polite and welcoming. Would recommend to all.
Oh my what can I say about the food and service apart from absolutely 5 stars. Possibly one of the best places I have been and I would highly recommend it to anybody. Very reasonably priced as well so not one of those places so stuck up with their own self importance that feel that they can charge £70 for a slice of toast with some paté on it. Try the dark chocolate desert. It's to die for. A+++++++
The food and service was amazing. Really good value for money and great choice of dishes. We had 3 each which was plenty. Ww were visiting the area but will definitely try the one closer to home.
Came here for a mid week lunch with a friend. There was a large group dining in the main part of the restaurant and we were placed in a corner out of the way, we felt a little left out from the action at first but the large group did get loud so it actually worked out well. We were warned there would be a bit of wait but it wasnt too bad. We ordered the 3 for £10 tapas plus a bottle of wine and it was very filling and tasty. My wine glass had to be replaced as it had lipstick marks on it before use but this was done without any issue. We did have to wait a little while for the bill but putting our coats on always does the trick to get staff to come over with the card machine The place itself feels more like a large pub rather than a restaurant, was nice enough but I was disappointed not to hear any Italian accents to give it a more authentic feel.
My friend & I had a Fabulous lunch here last week. The food was exceptional and the service great, Pesto is a lovely relaxing restaurant, we will definitely return soon.Food: 5/5
Now definitely our favourite place to eat. Food and value are excellent, but honestly it's the staff. We've been enough times, with loads of different staff, and different times of day and it's been consistently excellent. Parking: Could do with more spaces but not really an issue
Always good food, great service and a really nice venueFood: 5/5
This is lovely inside with great staff, service but I chose badly my tapas was dry and dull. But my 2 friends enjoyed theirs so I think I just did myself wrong, with it all. Average prices don't buy water it's 4 pounds !! Ask for tap style
Stayed, ate, and drank in this place many years ago 25-30 years maybe have some good memories and had good times while staying and working locally here for at least 6 months. It was an italian resturant then and still is, albeit now a chain. The rooms staff and food were excellent then and still are. Like me it has now mellowed. A good family resturant/ hotel/ bar. It was good to stay here again. Wonder if my 2 favourite barmaids/ waitresses still have the teddy bears i left as a thankyou?.
