A small but nice station. The staff are friendly, and the toilets are clean and accessible. There is an open waiting area with a few benches.
Yes, there may be delays and cancellations. Yes, there's been many times I've been frustrated here. But at the end of the day, I am so thankful there's a train station in Perth, and one with so many connections across Scotland. It makes Perth a walkable city, and one with plenty of public transport, so we should all be grateful for that at least. Yes, it's certainly not the most reliable but it's there! And it is quite a lovely building too when you look past the rust. Plus all the staff are kind and helpful, they're humans just like the rest of us and working in public industries can be hard!
Good station. Friendly staff. Toilets were clean. Platform was easy to find. It was very very quiet.
Good station with everything you need. The waiting areas are comfortable, it’s easy to find your platform, and the staff are helpful if you have questions. Always a smooth experience when I used to tavel from here.
A rather beautiful station comparable to lots of the stations in England. Even though my time was short there for just a train change, it's quite the station and had the facilities.nnI love the architecture here. There were toilets and vending machine available here. Ramps and elevators are available for accessible routes to change platforms.nnTrains heading to Dundee or Aberdeen will usually be at platforms 1-3 meanwhile trains towards Inverness goes from platforms 4-7.
