Awful build quality for a house that is almost 4 year old. We have discovered a crack on the exterior wall that spreads from the kitchen window all he way up to the upstairs bedroom window. Firstly I called Persimmon Homes to notify them of the problem and they told me as we weren’t the original buyer of the house, we weren’t their customer. Maybe we’re not the original buyer, but we have purchased one of their recently built homes so for me this demonstrates the bad build quality alongside their awful customer service. So they fobbed me off and told me to ring the warranty company, for which Persimmon told me they used NHBC warranty for our house. That was also wrong! Persimmon don’t seem to know who they used to cover the plot they built on.. it turned out to be LABC that covers our development. So I called them and that was ironically like talking to a house brick. They were no help whatsoever, they just constantly told me it was £1000 excess and no offer to send anyone out to inspect the problem. Persimmon should take responsibility and help us rectify this blatant defect caused by shoddy workmanship.

Nice houses but prices were to high for us and they didn't have many show homes available shame as we did want to stay in melton

The Sales Team helped to make the buying process very easy, We are very happy with our new home
