Persimmon took a holding deposit promising the house would be built in August, one week after (the day the deposit cleared) they moved it back to October. When we said this was impossible for us to move at that later date (for our plans, our buyers, holidays, jobs etc.) we requested a refund and as of yet, have received nothing, nor any contact from their team. Incredibly disappointing. Will update this review with an outcome when/if it happens. 21/Feb/17 (1 Star).

After this review was posted and I forwarded my issue higher up the chain, I did receive a cheque a few weeks later. I'm satisfied that I got my money back, however Persimmon could have bothered to include a cover letter, which I believe would have been courteous and have made it a resolution, rather than an action. 12/Mar/17 (2 Stars).
