Multi sports centre including swimming pool and large sports hall. Table Tennis group is run every Sunday between 3-5pm,ten tables available. The club is friendly and caters for all ages and abilities. Caters for recreational players and players who would like to participate in a competitive league. Coaching is available for youngsters,plus specific coaching to improve all areas of one's game.

How disgusting!nnI took my grandson swimming today and a child was sick on poolside. The lifeguard proceeded to fetch a bucket from the cupboard, filled it with pool water and washed the sick into the pool, where it dispersed. He requested assistance and another lifeguard and duty manager appeared on poolside. Customers were not informed to move away from the area or clear the pool. The duty manger collected the net from the cupboard and started scooping from the bottom of the pool. This indicates to me that this is not swallowed water and just like a flem consistency, they would have been able to swirl this around and the chlorine would have started to attack straight away. For them to be scooping from the bottom it indicates it's stomach contents, therefore needed a backwash and tested. When I approached the duty manager he proceeded to tell me he'd done a backwash and didn't need to clear the pool.nnWe all understand that chlorine attacks 99% of germs in a pool but that 1% doesn't attack Norovirus and Cryptosporidisis Crypo now if their normal procedure is to wash it into the pool and scoop it out they obviously don't get their pool microbiology tested to cover themselves for these issues. A duty manger telling me that he's done a backwash in 5 minutes is an insult, it takes about 15 minutes to make sure all valves are turned to the correct point.nnPershore pool, you should be ashamed of yourselves!
The staff are very nice, and the place is very welcoming. They have lots of facilities and we'll trained staff. The pool is a good size. However, the swim timetable they have makes it so me and most people can't swim during the week, but that's alright since I understand they have aftershool clubs. The gym is alright, some of the equipment had a few issues, which makes me question how often they check it. It's quite expensive but woth it. If you go to they gym when it's not busy you'll have a good time and get a lot done but if its busy you won't do that much.
Nice pool and staff. However the steam room is looking very tired with a need to re-tile. In general the health suite is well past its best and due a smartening up.
