Used Pershore Bridges carpark several times for walking ‍ a good base to explore the surrounding area. The Wychavon Way passes through this carpark and we used this to do one stage of it using two cars. Also there is a 5 mile circular walk that starts from here Pershore Bridges which is a nice picturesque easy walk which is well sign posted and plenty of interesting things to see along the way. I have enclosed some photographs from the Pershore Bridges 5 mile circular walk and the Wychavon Way.
On a pleasant bank holiday Monday, we decided to get some fresh air and visit the Worcestershire village of Pershore. There is a well signposted circular walk of around 5 miles. Lovely town even if you don’t venture past the outskirts. The whole walk is pavement and path so safe for all ages. Pershore has a beautiful Abbey and High Street. Several pubs with seating areas next to the river.
Nice little spot for walks and picnics, handy for town and all amenities
The start point for the Pershore Bridges Circular Walk which is a 5 mile walk which is fairly flat and can be completed easily within a couple of hours. There are also some footpaths off to nearby villages. The car park is not huge so may be tough to park there in peak season. Its also worth noting there is no public toilet here so if you have a weak bladder maybe go find a local pub before you begin.
Had a very nice time going on the walks available in the area. parking available. Very good fishing spot.
Beautiful place to moor up with alot of history, an interesting medieval bridge that was constructed in the 15th century by monks from Pershore, later destroyed by King Charles in 1644 during the English Civil War. Also some World War 2 history in the form of anti tank obstacles and a bunker covering the bridge and canal.
Lovely scenery, great place to sit down next to the water. 3 benches available. Nice walking routes with easy to follow directions. Car park available next to the seating area.
Parked here to do the 5 mile circular walk. Nice route. Also went into Pershore to use the toilets before & after. Toilet facilities in Pershore are exceptional Lovely town.
A lovely view of old pershore bridge. You could find a large farm field with a lot of wild lambs; you can see it closely by entering the field. There's also picnic area in the edge of Avon River.
It's a car park. You can definitely park cars there. Very pleasant walks can be started from there. We walked along the river bank and did a big loop that eventually brought you back to the car park. Great for all abilities in terms of the walk, which as it's alongside the river was pretty flat. Great for dogs on lead. After your walk pop into Pershore for a cuppa.
