This church has a wonderful play group on every other Saturday mornings for young children. The children can run around the hall playing with toys while the parents can sit down and enjoy a coffee . A bible story is then read to the children and then the children sing Christian songs . While this is happening the staff talk to the parents about the bible story and what lessons can be learned . I always leave feeling very happy knowing that ,no matter what life throws at me , I am important to God.
Church 100th Year Anniversary Weekend. Celebrations on the Saturday with displays around the church, various music during the day and 2 talks on the history of Welwyn Garden City given by Tony Skottowe. Sunday was a celebration service led by Rev Jane Weedon and Rev George Watt, Thames North Moderator. After the service a celebration tea was held in the marquee in the church grounds.
Lovely facilities. Friendly people.
We go to the coffee morning. On a Tuesday. Nice guy's to see. Very pleasant. Nice soup for lunch to. If you stay.
Really nice, accessible and friendly place. Lots of activities to attend almost every day of the week.
My daughter goes here regularly. She rates it very highly. Goes here on a Tuesday for "Slimming World ".
A beautiful but not overly ornate church - where all are made welcome.

The Slimming group here is excellent .
