Called in for drinks and to feed our daughter,    food arrived which was lovely and fresh,  all served by polite girl it seemed like her first shift but she was pleasant and friendly think her name was Kayleigh, will definitely return

The best pub in Newcastle. Always a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The staff are always happy to see you. Our server Laura was amazing, bery knowledgeable when she advised us of all the non alcohol options they have and was very courteous when taking our drink and food order

Have been coming to this pub for years now and it never disappoints. The food is lovely and the staff always have a smile on their face. Laura in particular was an amazing server and made me feel like I was always welcome. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love this place! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, friendly atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff are always welcoming and genuinely seem to enjoy what they do, which really adds to the experience. Highly recommend if you're looking for a laid-back local with heart. Jay in particular is a credit to the place

Went for breakfast on 10/11/21.nOrdered and asked if I wanted to add black pudding onto breakfast for 79p, I said yes.nMy partner ordered a bacon sandwich.nWaited around 15 min for food, it was really quiet as it was before midday.nMy food came out , eggs overdone the rest of my food was greasy and the sausages were warm and the bacon borderline.nI asked for soft eggs as don't see the point in having toast without a dippy yoke.nThe server left me with the breakfast and went to get 2 eggs, they came in a few minutes on a plate that was swimming in grease.nThe server did not return and I had an issue with the black pudding as it looked undercooked and was jelly like as you can see in the photo.nThe beans came in a tiny ramekin and the tomato was not cooked , it was like a raw tomato.nThe last time I had a breakfast it was really greasy too.nI had no check back and we left feeling disappointed as my partners sandwich was overdone too.nI just won't go back for breakfast here again.
