LOVELY BRUNCH SPOT in the middle of Rathmines. We popped in just after they opened at 9am. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We got Eggs Benedict, Baked Avocado & Eggs and pancakes for the kids. The food and coffee were excellent, and came out very quickly. They have a nice outdoor space to the rear. Kid-friendliness: Very friendly staff, child seats available for smaller kids.
Popped in for a quick lunch today. I ordered the prawns in chilli and garlic crostini with spinach and cherry tomatoes. Delicious. Just the job. I still can’t figure out how the waitress couldn’t put the knife and fork down correctly, it’s very easy. I was there early, so no excuse not to do it properly I’m not deducting a star for it as it can be resolved in 2 seconds. There’s a fabulous terrace out the back for dining al fresco. Glad I didn’t go out. It started lashing.
I had lunch there today and must say food was delicious, so much that I couldn't stop to take a picture of it before I ate it all. Staff are very friendly and the menu has lots of choices. It is a bit pricy but portions are huge! You won't regret the visit, that's for sure. Vegetarian options: I had the green quesadilla and it was very tasty.
I wouldn't recommend this place. We were seated at a table for 4 just 2 of us. 2 tables joined together. Before we had finished a guy came along and separated the tables and started cleaning. My daughter gave back her BLT as it was smothered in mayonnaise. The toasted bread had gone soggy. Still charged full whack. I gave 1 star as I couldn't comment otherwise. My poached eggs on avocado were tasty.
Absolutely appalled by the treatment I received from the manager. I had a table booked for 12.00 on Saturday yesterday. I rang in advance to ask if we could be seated inside as it was raining and the manager on the phone quickly said not to worry and that there would be a table for us, then quickly hung up. When we arrived we had to wait to be attended to, a group of four arrived after us and were seated as soon as they arrived which made no sense to myself or my partner. I told the manager I had a booking for 12.00 but he didn't seem to care at all and told me I was going to have to wait. I replied saying that I don't understand why there wasn't a table ready for us seeing that I booked online. He rudely replied that we would have to wait and turned his back to me immediately. I replied saying it was ridiculous, he then turned around and aggressively asked me if I "Wanted a table or not." Myself and my partner were absolutely disgusted and left immediately. I have eaten here a number of times, this treatment was absolutely awful though and I won't be returning as long as that manager is there.
The food is far more expensive than listed online. The food was edible I guess, the fish was burnt and dry and the chips were burnt. The service was incredibly slow even though there were very few people there and enough waiters. At the end of the night, they started taking out the bins in front of us, so unprofessional. Overall a waste of money.
One of my favorite spots to have eggs Benedict in Dublin because they serve them in Iberian Ham the waitress was extremely nice. We all really enjoyed our meal and would come back! Dietary restrictions: They offer a specific gluten free menu, so very friendly for gluten intolerant / celiacs
This place is a gem!! I discovered it through a groupon offer. I will certainly be back. The staff are so nice and mannerly. We had the afternoon tea and oh my god, it was the nicest version of afternoon tea I've ever had and I have tried a LOT of places. Ever the decor is very charming. Reservations recommended. Absolutely great cafe.

Really nice place for brunch! My favourite is the baked avocado, but the menu has a vast variety of options. On a sunny warm day I recommend to enjoy your meal in the beautiful patio. Try the stake sandwich for dinner with sweet potatos! Yummy!
