Avoid avoid avoid! One of the worst pepes I’ve had and I’m a big fan of the chicken and rice from pepes, ordered two chicken and rice boxes, soo much rice and hardly no chicken! Both boxes were similar See pic. Maybe we ordered close to closing time but they should not be allowed to serve this. The guy who answered the phone doesn’t know how to deal with customer complaints just kept cutting me off, and to top it off my friend found a hair in the other chicken and rice box, but yeah he said this is how they do it in slough I’ve just come across there reply to the above review I have wrote.. and I want to say they are such liars no one offered a refund or exchange I kept calling them and they were being rude, they didn’t want to hear my complaint and kept cutting me off I called them back a few times. Why wouldn’t I take a refund if one had been offered? after they were not listening and phone conversation ended that’s when my friend found the hair in the box. Why would I call them up again after the rude customer service I had got over the phone. Do not lie.
Long day and I was choosing a place in Slough to eat. We had loads of options but the lines were massive. I looked at this place and thought it looks okay. The food was good. Way to much sauce but flavours hit the spot Could do with a jazz up with the environment....
Ordered a 5 wing meal with a cake. The cake came frozen, I mean FROZEN. Literal bricks of ice on the cake. The frosting was curdled up and was absolutely disgusting. Nice wings tho. Chips felt microwaved with no flavor.
If I could give this restaurant 0 stars I would. Although the chicken and rice tastes delicious, the quality of Slough Pepe’s is vile. The chicken stank like it was expired and rotten, the rice is always cold. The Pepsi is always flat - might as well call is black sugar juice. I’m humiliated by the fact that the food takes ages and still tastes so bad. Wouldn’t recommend.
I bought here years ago and it was average so havent ordered food in quite some time. My daughter wanted the rice and chicken so we decided to order from here. I have to say there was a pretty long wait, which ment the food wash fresh and hot i would avoid if not getting food within 5mins is going to cause serious injury or death I decided to try a wrap and some white thick bread thing it was some mexican sandwich thing sorry if my igonrance offends i went Hot on the wrap and plain on the sandwich thing. I was blown away with the plain and the hot flavours my daughter went lemon and herb which was pretty average The wrap was delicious, the veg and salad in the wrap was cruncy, the cheese was gooey and the spices were well balanced. Honestly its worth trying the plain or hot flavoured chicken if you had a bad exp with the Lemon and herb... I have ordered since, using a delivery app and it was as expected a pretty long wait. Go for priority delivery and tip the driver if you want the food quicker as due to the wait im sure drivers pick up other orders while they wait, which may delay the arrival... Sorry for the novel but i had to say my piece.
Chicken burger with hash brown was really nice . The staff was soooooo slow getting the order ready and was not even busy. the shop didn't have any diet bottle drinks instead gave me 6 little drinks some of which not even filled up correctly. Lack of quality in this shop and management need to look at the staff not capable of getting order outs in quick fashion as this is meant to be fast food establishment.
The food was nice but the portion sizes were like kids sizes. I could spend less in nandos and feel a lot more satisfied.Food: 3/5
The bearded guy is a very rude guy. He needs to be thought how to be respectful towards customers. He talks like he owns the place. Dude definitely needs ethics and customer service class. Disrespectful guy.
One of the staff makes imaginary line with chairs and yells when the customers cross the line. How are we supposed to know that he has mopped the floor and we ain’t allowed to cross it. He needs to learn to speak to customers. One star for the 5 star food and 0 for the customer service.
I experienced bad customer service and I waited over 30 minutes got served with burnt food. And those pictures will show what I had.
