Don't be put off by the look of this place, it's a real gem. lovely fresh cooked food, the proprietor has built a great little community cafe here. Great range of food available, delicious food served with a very warm welcome.

Lovely place, good food. Absolute shame the owner is leaving, he's an amazing, welcoming and friendly chap and will be sorely missed.
Dated but what makes it great... the owner makes everyone feel equal and welcome i could tell by the people in there, he didn't judge or refuse anyone. Peoples palace is such a poignant name

Often pop in for a nop-notch breakfast £5.50 incl hot drink. Excellent veggi breakfast options too, plus loads of other Cafe staples. Proprietor very friendly lol.
