Wow! Such a luxury restaurant, food and drinks were delicious, personal couldn't be better. Very cozy feeling place definitely coming again!
Food was fab. Very generous portions and value for money. Staff were just amazing and very welcoming. Couldn't do enough for the customers. Went to celebrate my husbands birthday. They came out with a dessert and a candle after our meal. Made his day. 100% the friendliest Staff around. Will definitely be back. Everyone needs to experience this amazing and friendly place. Full stars it gets.
Very nice place, with a lovely romantic and high class atmosphere. The steak is to die for along with the pepper sauce. It always tastes fresh. The server always asks me to order first and it is so mannerly and chivalrous it makes me smile. One thing I would say it the chips are quite a small portion! Still taste yummy though.
It's not very often you get a restaurant that can tick the right boxes, we went here on the recommendation from a friend and we were not left disappointed. Our starters, well they took over 40mins for them to arrive but the food made up for it. It was worth the wait, all the food we ordered we could not fault , it's not that often I go to a restaurant and say the steak is nice but here it was, it was nicely charred seasoned and cooked to the way I like it . All the food we ordered was delicious.
Absolutely delicious meal for us quick visiting Cavan. The People’s Restaurant has the best curry / prawns dish I had in a very long time. And my friend said the sirloin steak was very tasty as well. Appetizers we had were succulent. A must try in Cavan. good vegetarian options too only downside is the place itself. The restaurant is pretty ugly compared to the quality of the dishes.
Me and my boyfriend had a lovely time here for a little date , the portions are really good we were stuffed and their chicken wings are really yummy the sweet potato fries are perfect too and the service was great : really enjoyed ourselves we love the decor in here and just the overall vibe in the Percy French lounge is really cozy , also wanted to note I really appreciate the actual bowl of lemon water with the wings for ur fingers instead of just those cheap wipes some other restaurants do , it’s a hate of mine so we’ll done people for putting in the extra effort in the details
Gorgeous restaurant, amazing food, excellent staff. I cannot rate this restaurant highly enough. We had the early bird and the menu is extensive, and well appointed. Great options for vegetarians, I chose the goats cheese salad, Halloumi Burger & creme brulee and I wasn't disappointed. I was cheeky and asked for a Margarita & the bar staff were more than happy to make it for me. Service was excellent, quick and efficient. If you're ever looking for somewhere to eat in Cavan, this is the place to go.
Always great to be back in the People's bar. The staff is very friendly they make you feel at home. The food is amazing. Definetly a must if you visit Cavan. Thanks a million team!
Excellent food and service, atmosphere down slightly as a Tuesday night, but definitely not the restaurants fault, really enjoyed the evening.Food: 5/5
This restaurant was "Lovely" hats off to the two brother who run it. The Staff where very professional, polite, and excellent at customer service. The food was very nice, & seasonal. Their is a children's menu, and a nice set menu. Here is what we had
