Lovely place to walk and chat. Lovely cafe with friendly, helpful staff. Good choice on the menu for savouries and sweet treats. Dog friendly.
Lovely little café, can get pretty busy. Very welcoming to dogs provided they are well behaved.
This is a beautiful park right in the centre of a residential area. There is ample parking around the park. Great for dog walkers, joggers, sitting, strolling. There is a dedicated play area for the kids here too. Public conveniences are in the centre, by the lake open from 8 til 8 in the evening. The lake has a couple of resident swans and ducks. There is an old bandstand here too that does get used from time to time for events There is a bowls club here too with a fantastic bowls green. Well worth a visit anytime of the year
Very pretty park and it has really nice playground as we saw from far away because we were not allowed to go in it was under repairs for mad draining. I hope next time we be there my toddler can use the playground. Very beautiful overall. The lake and the birds gives calm vibes.
It's a beautiful park, very tranquil, and calming for a morning stroll. Shame that some people have to be utter and throw their rubbish on the floor or even in the pond. Absolutely disgusting. On the other hand, the council could put more bins up but not those huge monstrosities that don't blend in.
This used to be a fabulous place to take youngsters, but after trying to ignore the intimidation tactics of a gang of young people on bicycles who seemed to take exception at anyone else enjoying the playground, we eventually left. If you don't mind the swearing and riding wheelies within inches of you and can put up with the threatening and abusive behaviour then go enjoy the place. However after having lived in several cities I have never felt more worried for my safety. If it is not clamped down on, some poor unfortunate kid is going to be killed.
Quiet, relaxing, ideal for famalies and pets, cafe and toilets, woodland walks, large lake, large open grassed area, childrens play area, charity run floral hall, easy parking. Sadly the floral hall is no longer open but still a good day out.
Wheel bins in the pond today but still nice walk round the park has a cafe toilets play ground swings the boat that was in play area has unfortunately been taken away but I hear that there is going to be new parks in the area so I hope new play ground will be here as well
Lovely park that I’ve been going to on and off all my life. I now visit Grimsby only occasionally but it’s a great place to take my children. It’s well maintained and cared for these days, and has a little cafe too. Although these days not technically part of the park, the Floral Hall is worth a visit. It closed a few years ago which was a real shame. Good to see it back.
Grimsby's top park. Great serenity. Top park.
