We parked up at the paid car park and walked up into town. The houses in the area are nice and lovely.nnThe town is full of independent shops that are lovely & variety. Such a beautiful place and want to come back again.
Great place to catch the ferry from
Someone recommended us to visit Penzance. It wasn’t anything like I thought. I only saw one pirate in a restaurant in a window. The shops are independently owned so quite a variety. If you go out of the town there is the beautiful Penlee Memorial Park. There is an open air theatre there. Also a gallery and museum. A sensory garden and an orangery cafe. The houses in the area are impressive. Worth a visit.
I parked up and went for a walk around, plenty of parking and a nice peaceful walk with good scenery. This was in the evening so not sure how easy parking will be in the day.
A great stroll with dramatic views of the coast throughout. We walked from the centre of Penzance as far as Newlyn harbour with great views and plenty to do. There are the outdoor jubilee pool, the skate park and a few eateries within easy reach.
