Booked my commercial Mitsubishi shogun in for a full service . I have owned this truck since new supplied by the Pentagon group from the now closed outer circle branch Lincoln. First visit to the Tritton road dealership Lincoln .Checked opening times web stated closing 5.30 pm . Arrived 5.10 to be informed by the very unprofessional service manager James that they close at 5 pm . Booked my truck in requested a full service including all filters and oils . He was carrying on a conversation at this time with another member of staff so was clearly not very interested . After several phone calls around 4pm the next day I did eventually find out my vehicle was ready for collection. Some confusion as to the opening hours from not open on a Saturday to actually being open for a limited hours . I went to collect my truck from the unhelpful slightly hostile service manager . To discover no fuel filter or final drive oils had been changed despite my request . I was informed that they were not due to be so . This is a working truck towing and working off road hence we do like to somewhat over service the vehicle it’s my choice to do so . Ironically they did make a charge for topping up the screen wash when I had already filled it to the top. Thats a borderline scam . I enquired as to why no body phoned to inform me my truck was ready to be told the phone lines were down however James did falsely claim to have texted me . No such text exists on my phone . So he clearly is being economical with the truth . It was a very much take it or leave it attitude , and go find your vehicle and find someone else to service my 2016 10000 mile truck . Pentagon charged me £750 for a shocking level of service . I do have a private car which I take to the local JLR dealer who are always professional informative and respectful of there customers wishes unlike the service department of Pentagon Mitsubishi Tritton road Lincoln .
Visited pentagon LoughboroughnWas looking at cars and I saw one which caught my eye I explained to the assistant Raphael it was exact colour make and mileage I wanted and asked to go for a test drive. He replied he wasn’t going to take me for a JOY RIDE ayes he said that until I confirmed I wanted the car. I said I had the cash with me and that I would be not wasting his time or mine and I was a serious guy in fact we were looking for 2 cars. His tone change eyes narrowed and he became very aggressive saying he would not be letting me drive it until I confirmed I wanted to buy. Which I thought was strange as other car showrooms take you out happily to let you get the feel of the car. He really wasn’t a nice person to deal with and at that point we left. We weee 99% going to buy the car just wanted a short drive in it.nnWe went to another showroom down the road and told them during a conversation what happened and they were shocked. It’s 6 am today and I am still upset at his attitude. Never experienced anything like this.
I have a Vauxhall 21 plate Vivaro, this is the second time I have had awful treatment from their customer service staff. I didn’t complain the first bad experience as I gave the staff member the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe it was me in the wrong. I even apologised to her.nnI have a an intermittent dash board , oil light and now engine light. They can stay on for days or for one journey length. Some times flashing sometime on permanently. This causes a lot of stress and anxiety as I worry their is something wrong with the vehicle.nnI have bought my van in with the lights off and on. I have taken photos of the light on. The first time they said their was nothing wrong, I left and the light came on the day after. I returned with the light on and they explained that I wasn’t worry as the oil was fine. No explanation as to why the light keeps coming on.nnSince March the light for engine oil has continued to flash intermittently causing concern and me constantly to check the oil. Now the engine light has been coming on I was concerned which is why I reluctantly booked it in.nnLoughborough staff completed check again this week and again explained there was absolutely nothing wrong with my vehicle. That there was nothing on the computer to even say these lights have been coming on. Their ‘top technician’ had looked and this and complete a test drive.nnI excepted this but kindly asked what they thought the warning lights were caused by. I have genuine concern about this and asked if they could speak to someone at Vauxhall to see if there were any other vehicles doing the same thing? I just wanted to find a solution or know what to do. This is when the staff members tone changed, she spoke over me and repeated what she had already said that there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. Almost like I was imagining it, I just wanted some help to find a solution, there was no help or advice offered. Her tone changed, further more, which is when I said that I didn’t like the way she was speaking to me. She explained that this was who she was and how she speaks and almost insinuated I was being discriminative towards her. I repeated that I didn’t like the way she was speaking to me. I can assure you this is not how she spoke to me when I booked the van in.nShe went on to say “ I have never seen a vivaro with the faults you are describing and I have seen a lot of vans believe me” she continued with her hostility, not listening and talking over me. “I can assure you I understand body language and how to speak to people as she had studied psychology”. I gave up.nnI left saying I don’t believe I deserve to be spoken to like a child and this is exactly how I felt, I felt humiliated. I went and sat in my partners car extremely upset and anxious.nnI get out of his car to see where they had parked my van. They had turned off all the lights in the office. I find my van at the furthers point of the car park, it’s not been cleaned. Listed of jobs to be completed I was told the vehicle would receive a complimentary clean as well as the full diagnostic.nnSo disappointed. I just want a solution for this.
Totally online sale due to lockdown and living so far away from the garage so I had to have total trust in the salesman to be honest about the condition of the car. Matt completely made me feel at ease and was reassuring which enabled a stress free, quick and easy sale. The car was exactly as described and delivered to my door. I would recommend this company to anyone.
dealt with jack who was great. brilliant prices and arranged delivery so i managed to get everything done over the phone without a hitch. would definitely recommend. super duper easy way of buying a car. jack was prompt, friendly but not pushy and able to answer all my questions.
