We had the bridal suite for the evening of our wedding. It was beautiful, very clean. Bed was comfy. Nice, large, sized room. Couldn't get the shower to run hot water, but used the big bathtub instead for a relaxing bath.Service: 5/5
I attended for a wedding reception in the rear function room which was a beautiful hidden gem. A lit of my friends stayed overnight and enjoyed the rooms. It was a great function, with staff going above and beyond throughout even when providing a bit of guidance when people were entering the drunken phase of the wedding. Food was excellent and everyone really enjoyed. The coordinator was spot on throughout I can't comment personally on the rooms, but review star options don't give you an n/a option... it's tucked back on high street and just keeps going back with other own large car parks. Lots of good disabled facilities, parking etc as well Safety: There was a medical emergency and staff responded incredibly well and were massively supportive throughout Food & drinks: Large and good selection of drinks and beers on tap for a hotel
Staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Situated on the High Street, which is quite rundown, unfortunately, however, there are some nice walks nearby along the river being one of them. The room had a couple of issues, a very slow running bath, a bath plug not affective. The mattress was uncomftable.
Attended a wedding, to begin... Day Food was ok best part was main meal Haddock but bread on starters was cold and rock hard , pudding was ok although tasted more like pureed crumble, the night food was meant to be a hog roast, I've had plenty of hog roast and I can tell you that was NOT a hog roast it was VILE! Chairs weren't ideal my chair had to be replaced as I didn't feel safe sitting on it wonky chair and another chair broke that evening. Staff were very nice and polite Location was nice, although the room fees were very excessive cheaper to go home.
The best thing about the Emlyn hotel was the staff. I've stayed in many hotels but none of them comes close to the attentiveness and warmth we received from all of the staff. I would visit again just to see them! Good location with pubs serving food very close by.Rooms: 2/5
We have stayed here on five previous occasions, great location with easy access to town. Clean rooms with new furniture. General facilities very good. Staff friendly and helpful. Will stay again.Rooms: 4/5
